Eligibility Criteria:
1. The competition is typically open to final-year diploma students from recognized
engineering colleges.
2. The team size may consist of 1 to 4 students (team size can vary depending on the group
form by student institute).
3. The project must be related to the student’s diploma in engineering discipline
(According to competition Categories: I – Computer & IT, II – Electrical & E&TC, III
– Mechanical, and IV - Civil).

Project Submission:
1. Students must choose a project related to their field of study. The topic must be
innovative, practical, and feasible within the given time frame.
2. An abstract or brief summary of the project, including objectives, methodology, and
expected outcomes, may be required.
3. A working model or prototype (if applicable) is often required to demonstrate the
practical application of the project.

Presentation Rules:
1. Presentations will be for 10 minutes including Q&A session.
2. Use of PowerPoint slides, videos, or posters is generally allowed to support the
presentation.
3. If the project involves hardware, it must be demonstrated during the presentation.
Evaluation Criteria:
Projects will be evaluated based on the following criteria:
• Innovation & Creativity: How original and innovative the project is.
• Technical Depth: The technical complexity and how well the student understands the
project.
• Design & Feasibility: The practicality and feasibility of the project in real-world
applications.
• Presentation Skills: Clarity, professionalism, and communication during the
presentation.
• Use of Resources: Efficient use of materials, tools, and resources.
• Sustainability & Impact: How environmentally friendly and socially impactful the
project is.
• A panel of faculty members, industry experts, or professionals will evaluate the projects
• The decision of evaluation panel will be final and binding on all participants.

Code of Conduct:

• Original Work: The project must be the student’s original work. Plagiarism or copying
from other sources is prohibited.
• Ethical Conduct: All projects should adhere to ethical standards, including respecting
intellectual property rights.
• Respect for Competitors: Students must respect the opinions and efforts of other
participants, and any form of misconduct or cheating will result in disqualification.

Eligibility Criteria:

engineering colleges.
2. Students can participate individually or in teams (typically 1 to 2 students per team, it
can vary depending on the group form by student institute).
3. The paper should be related to the student's specific engineering discipline (According
to competition Categories: I – Computer & IT, II – Electrical & E&TC, III –
Mechanical, and IV - Civil).
Paper Submission:
1. The paper must focus on a relevant and innovative engineering topic. It should be
related to current technological trends, innovations, or solutions to practical engineering
problems.
2. Paper Format: The paper should adhere to specific formatting guidelines, which may
include;
✓ Font style (usually Times New Roman)
✓ Font size (usually 12 pt)
✓ Line spacing (usually 1.5 or double-spaced)
✓ Margin specifications (usually 1 inch on all sides)
✓ Word limit (often 3000-5000 words)
3. Paper Structure:
✓ Title Page: Title of the paper, authors' names, college name, and contact
information.
✓ Abstract: A concise summary of the paper.
✓ Introduction: Overview of the problem or research area.
✓ Literature Review: Background research and existing solutions.
✓ Methodology: Research methods or approach.
✓ Results and Discussion: Data analysis, findings, and interpretation.
✓ Conclusion: Key takeaways and potential future work.
✓ References: Citations of sources used
4. Participants must submit both a soft and hard copy of the paper at the time of the
presentation.

Presentation Rules:
1. Presentations are generally time-limited, typically ranging from 8-15 minutes, followed
by a Q&A session.
2. Presenters are usually allowed to use PowerPoint slides or other visual aids to enhance
their presentation.
3. Presentations should be clear, concise, and effectively communicate the core ideas of
the paper.
4. If applicable, participants may demonstrate any practical applications, models, or
experiments related to their paper.
5. Presentations are generally expected to be in English
6. Typically, a laptop, projector are provided, but participants may be asked to bring their
own equipment if necessary.

Evaluation Criteria:
Papers and presentations are evaluated based on several factors:
✓ Content & Innovation: The originality of the topic, the depth of research, and the
relevance of the findings.
✓ Technical Knowledge: The depth of technical understanding demonstrated during the
presentation.
✓ Clarity and Organization: The clarity and logical flow of the presentation, as well as
the effectiveness of the visuals.
✓ Presentation Skills: Effective communication, confidence, and engagement with the
audience.
✓ Relevance & Practical Application: How applicable the research or solution is to real-
world problems or the engineering field.
✓ References and Citations: Proper citation of references and adherence to academic
integrity (plagiarism-free).
✓ A panel of faculty members, industry experts, or professionals will evaluate the papers

Code of Conduct:
✓ Original Work: The paper must be the student’s original work. Plagiarism or copying
from other sources without proper citation is strictly prohibited and can lead to
disqualification.

presentations. All information should be cited properly.
✓ Respectful Behaviour: All participants are expected to respect the judgment of the

Theme of the Poster:


Topic – 1: Environment and Sustainable Energy
Topic – 2: AI and its application

Poster Guidelines:
✓ Size: Posters should usually be in a standard size of A3 paper.
✓ Orientation: Posters may need to be in portrait or landscape orientation.
✓ Content:
• Please mention the name of the participant along with the name of the institute
on the poster.
• The title of the poster topic.
• Introduction/Abstract (short description of the topic).
• Methodology, experiments, or processes (if applicable).
• Conclusion and recommendations.
• Images, graphs, charts, and diagrams can be included to make the poster more
informative and visually appealing.
• Font and Design: Use legible fonts (e.g., Times New Roman) with appropriate
sizes for headings, subheadings, and content. Ensure a professional layout with
balanced text, visuals, and empty space.
• Clarity and Simplicity: The content should be concise and easy to understand,
with a focus on the key points.

Presentation Rules:
1. Participants should be prepared to present their posters to judges or the audience.
Presentations typically last 5-10 minutes.
2. Presenters must be able to explain their poster content clearly and answer any questions
posed by the judges.
3. The competition may take place in front of a panel of judges
