The Kuwait Journal of Science is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal that publishes original research in

various elds of basic and applied Sciences. The Journal annually publishes four issues and is a part of the
Academic Publication Council (APC), Kuwait University. The Journal is indexed by major databases such as
Scopus, SJR, and Web of Science. There are no publication fees for publication in KJS and all previous publications are

EDITORIAL NOTE
After splitting from the Kuwait Journal of Science and Engineering, the Kuwait Journal of Science (KJS)
has become an independent journal published with a print ISSN: 2307-4108 and online ISSN: 2307-4116 for
its quarterly issues. The ofcial KJS website https://journalskuwait.org contains open-access, peer-reviewed
articles in various elds of Science including Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Physics, Chemistry,
Biology, and Earth & Environmental Sciences. High quality review articles, full length research papers, and
short communication articles are welcomed by KJS. The Journal publishes four issues per year and is indexed on
academic databases such as Scopus, SJR, and Web of Science. The KJS has an International Advisory Board
including 11 world class scientists. The rst issue of KJS was published in June 2013 with ISSN:2307-4116.
