Brief Note On Computer Components.

A computer consists of several key components that work together


to process data and perform tasks. These components can be
classified into hardware and software.

Main Hardware Components:

1. Central Processing Unit (CPU): The “brain” of the computer that


processes instructions and executes tasks.
2. Memory (RAM – Random Access Memory): Temporary storage
for data and programs being actively used.
3. Storage Devices:

Hard Disk Drive (HDD) and Solid-State Drive (SSD) for long-term
data storage.

4. Motherboard: The main circuit board connecting all


components.
5. Power Supply Unit (PSU): Converts electricity to power the
computer.
6. Input Devices: Devices like keyboard, mouse, and scanner that
allow user interaction.
7. Output Devices: Devices like monitors, printers, and speakers
that display or produce results.

Software Components:

Operating System (OS): Manages hardware and software (e.g.,


Windows, macOS, Linux).

Application Software: Programs like web browsers, games, and


office tools.
