Chapter 1 Overview
Welcome to use the computerized embroidery machine control system produced by
Tianjin Richpeace AI Co., Ltd. Please read the operation manual carefully before use,
in order to run the computerized embroidery machine correctly.

1.1 Safety Warnings and Precautions

Safety Warnings and Precautions

Do not modify or process the embroidery machine without authorization,


let alone use embroidery machine parts for other machines.

In the process of troubleshooting, must carry out in accordance with the


guidance in the manual, disassembly and maintenance without
instruction are not allowed.

Never put your fingers or other objects into the working area of the
embroidery machine, and machine inside should be cleaned regularly.

Do not use damaged embroidery machine.

No one is allowed to touch the embroidery machine except the operator,


so as not to endanger the personnel safety.

When the embroidery machine is in normal running, neither any


repairing nor maintenance operations are allowed.

Keep the machine away from heat sources, flammable items and
high-density power sources, etc.

After machine working completing, Turn off the power and plug out,
clean the machine, cover it with plastic and place in a designated place.

When the embroidery machine is abnormal, must stop immediately to
troubleshoot.

Before starting the embroidery machine, must check and ensure that the
electrical appliances and magnets are unobstructed and installed in place.

Place the embroidery machine in a moisture-proof, dry and


well-ventilated environment.

Understand the operation instructions of the machine, and pay attention


to the maintenance, before using the machine.

Before stitching operations, it is necessary to check whether the machine


is working properly and well lubricated.

When the embroidery machine is running, keep clean and quiet, make
sure no sharp objects or other sundries around the machine in avoid to
collide with it.

Set the electric voltage and current according to the manual instruction.

When choosing a power socket, make sure its power supply and voltage
are stable and comply with relevant national and local safety standards.

Check the wiring and electrical components regularly when using the
embroidery machine, to avoid damage caused by wiring failures.

The laying of various cables must be reasonably fixed, and the cables
must not be stressed. When the cables pass through sharp surfaces such
as structural holes, they must be handled to avoid damage to the cables.
If necessary, additional insulation such as cable bushing can be added to
improve the insulation function of the cable.

When using an embroidery machine, the appropriate distribution wire
diameter should be selected according to the working conditions of the
machine, so as to avoid circuit instability caused by too thin or too long
wires, which will affect the embroidery quality and equipment life.

Decide the power supply, voltage and frequency according to the


operating area, to ensure the safety of using the embroidery machine.

1.2 Main features of embroidery machine


1. Humanized touch screen interface
Interface icons and text are concise and clear, so that users can understand at a
glance. Users can define the icons and layout of the interface to make it more
convenient for using. The interface is simple and easy to understand, and the
arrangement of controls is reasonable, allowing users to complete operations quickly.
The interface conform to the principles of ergonomics, adopt appropriate fonts and
color matching, and avoid too dazzling colors or too small fonts. Touch-screen
interface is able to respond to user input timely to avoid stuttering and delays. When
users encounter operational difficulties, they can easily find guidance. Guarantee user
privacy and data security, and prevent attacks and intrusions by bad software.
2. Super large pattern storage
Single pattern can reach 1 million stitches, and the computer storage of total
stitches can reach 1GB, meeting the pattern storage requirements for various users.
3. Normal parameters of each pattern
Pattern parameters and the sequence of color change (needle bar), can record the
work settings of each pattern. When the machine is working on the existing pattern,
the next patterns can be set at the same time, saving time and improving productivity.
More importantly, it is one of the foundations for centralized network management.
4. Group management of embroidery parameters

The embroidery parameters can be grouped according to the frequently modified
parameters, machine application parameters used by the embroidery technicians and
parameters used by the production factory. The parameters which are used by the
technicians and factory can be saved and restored. And the machine with encryption
function can be encrypted.
5. Input and output patterns by USB port
Users can use the USB disk through USB port to operate the directory, which is
convenient for users to manage patterns.
6. Multiple heads
The number of heads can be customized made to 128, for higher production
efficiency.
7. Multiply patterns input
USB disks support multi-pattern input in the same directory.
8. Network input patterns and color-changing sequence, etc.
The system has network interface, for pattern reading and color-changing sequences
input, etc.
9. Multiply machines networking function
The embroidery monitoring Local Area Network(LAN) can be set up through the
network interface, and connected to the internal network of the embroidery factory, so
as to realize centralized management of the network, improve production efficiency,
and reduce error links in the production process. It is the best choice of embroidery
equipment in the transition from embroidery enterprises to modern enterprise
management.
10. Applique embroidery function
This function can set the pattern changing color code or stop code as the patch
point. When the pattern is embroidered to the patch point, the machine will
automatically stop and move out of the frame. After the cloth is pasted, pulling rod to
continue to embroider.
11. Brake adjustment function

Users can adjust the braking process parameters according to the different
characteristics of their own embroidery machines to make the main shaft stop
accurately.
12. Stitching Start-port Memory function
This function can memorize embroidery start-point of each pattern, so as to avoid
the tedious work of manual frame-moving to find the start-point every time for the
same pattern.
13. Maintenance and debugging functions of various machines
Including: photoelectric encoder self-inspection, spindle speed self-inspection,
spindle parking at any position, various machine component tests, etc. The application
of this function makes the debugging and fault judgment of the embroidery machine
more convenient.
14. Supports multiple languages
The system supports switching between Chinese, English, Spanish and other
languages.
15. Pattern output
The patterns stored in the computer can be exported and stored to the USB disk.
16. Repeated embroidery function
Set the repeated embroidery for the same pattern to improve production efficiency,
and can be working together with cycle embroidery.
17. Cycle embroidery function
When completing one pattern embroidery, it will return to the origin automatically
to start the next embroidery process. This function cooperates with special pattern
making or repeated embroidery, which can greatly improve the work efficiency.
18. Speed regulation function
The maximum embroidery speed can be set in advance, and the speed will be
automatically adjusted according to the needle distance during the embroidery
process.
19. Thread trimming function

It can realize the manual control of the thread trimming operation, and automatic
thread trimming during color changing or after embroidery finishes.
20. Thread-breakage detection
If the thread is broken during the embroidery process, or the bobbin thread is used
up, machine will stop automatically with the red light on to give an alarm.
21. Color changing function
Color change can be performed by manual at the color change position, or
according to the preset color change sequence, it will change automatically.
22. Special embroidery function
Including chenille embroidery, coiling embroidery, tape embroidery, zigzag
embroidery, realizes rich and colorful embroidery.

Chapter 2 Embroidery Wizard
2.1 The structure and operation instructions of the operation box
1. Operation box structure
(1) Touch screen
This machine adopts high-brightness LCD display and touch screen human-machine
interface.
(2) USB host interface
This model can be connected with an external USB disk for data input and output.
2. Touch screen operation instructions
As the input device, do not use excessive force or use sharp and hard objects to
click on the touch screen, in order to ensure the service life and performance of the
touch screen.
3. USB disk instructions
Pay special attention to the anti-static issues when using USB disks. Before
inserting or removing the USB disk, please touch the metal frame or machine stand
with your hands to discharge. The USB disk is directional when inserted. Avoid
pulling out the USB disk suddenly when data reading. If the USB is pulled out before
the data is written, or the power is suddenly cut off, the data may be lost. You should
check the integrity of the USB disk data in PC and repair it before continuing to use it.
Note: If power off or USB pulled out suddenly during the process of formatting, it
may cause the USB disk unusable.
4. Network Connection Instructions
Set the machine network parameters before the system is connected to the network,
and then connect, otherwise other machines in the network may not be able to
communicate

2.2 Operation Panel Description


The operation panel is touch screen display as a whole, to control the machine
operation is through the virtual keys on the screen.

2.3 Description of the main interface
The Fig. below is a schematic diagram of the touch screen overall operation main
interface with all functions. Check the display screen if normal or not, or any
appearance damage when getting the machine. If not, then turn on the power, and the
initial screen interface (HMI) will be shown as in Fig. 2-1.

There is no any files in the display column when using the machine first time.
Check the pattern from "Pattern Selection" in the "Pattern Setting" menu. And the

pattern parameters setting will pop up after one pattern selected, click "OK", then the
pattern will appear in the display area. The interface is shown in Fig. 2-4 .
There are several columns in display area:
1. Pattern file name
2. Pattern colors sequence,
Click the "Color Sequence Setting" icon to set the color sequence.
3. Pattern stitching information,
Pattern information includes: start-point X coordinate, start-point Y coordinate, W-
width, H-height, C-color sequence number, N-total stitches number;
Click the main interface, it will show the pattern preview. You can click the four

direction keys to move the pattern, icon to center the pattern, icon to zoom

in the pattern and icon to zoom out the pattern. Shown as below:

As shown in Fig. 2-5, the main menu at left includes the following information:
1.Pattern setting

Their functions are shown in the following table 2-1.

Embroidery Enter "embroidery function" sub-interface, there are: border
function embroidery, fabric embroidery, applique embroidery,
alternate-head embroidery, positioning line embroidery,
stitch shifting and repeated embroidery. See 2.5 in chapter 2
for the detailed introduction.
Shortcut It is convenient and fast to find the functions from the
function shortcut list. There are: thread hooking, thread trimming,
manual color change, etc. See Chapter 4 for details.
Auxiliary Including bobbin thread and upper thread inspection, super
function user, peripheral board information and main control
upgrading, etc. Auxiliary functions are the interconnection
of the main board and sensors with the display screen. It
plays a key role. See Chapter 5 for details.

2.3.4 Common settings at bottom column

As shown in Fig. 2-6, the common functions setting includes the following
information:
1. Pattern selection
2. Set embroidery start-point
3. Back to start-point
4. Border check
5. Back to stitching point
6. Back to origin point
7. Back to offset point
8. Spindle Jog
9. Flat embroidery thread-trimming
10.Manual color change
Note: This column functions are not fixed, set according to operators habits.
Steps to switch the common setting functions as follows:
Open <Main Interface>, click <Assist Function> at left, then find <Common
Settings> in the middle interface, as shown in Fig. 2-7 below.

After entering the Common Settings interface, it will display as in Fig. 2-8, then

select the frequently-used functions buttons.

After the above steps are completed, click to confirm your selections, and

the menu function buttons at the bottom column will change to the buttons as ordered.

Click to cancel the operation.

Table 2-2 as below shows the names and descriptions of the bottom menu icons

Display Name Description


Pattern This is the shortcut key for pattern selection on the main
selection interface, for directly entering the pattern selecting
interface, which is more convenient to set the patterns. See
chapter 6 for details.
Set This icon is the button to set the embroidery start-point.
embroidery System will pop up a dialog box to prompt the operator if
start-point setting the current coordinates as the new starting point. If
yes, click , otherwise click .

Back to This icon is the button to return to the embroidery starting
embroidery point. System will pop up a dialog box, and the embroidery
start-point frame will move automatically.
Border This function will check whether the frame is within the
check embroidery range or not. If it is out of range, the frame will
be calibrated automatically.
Back to By this function, machine returns to the position where
stitch-point embroidery stopped, and continues to complete the work of
previous step.
Needle bar The needle bar automatically lifts down to get closer to the
positioning embroidered cloth, in order to make the needle bar stitch at
the set position better. It mainly plays positioning function.
Back to Machine will return to the preset offset-point from the
offset point current position. Offset-point coordinate parameters can be
set according to the x-axis coordinates, y-axis coordinates,
and x/y-axis coordinates.
Spindle jog Click and enter "Spindle jog", it will prompt with one
pop-up "The machine is about to work, please pay attention
to safety!", click " " to execute the operation and the
spindle will rotate to the position of 100 degrees with the
pop-up off. If click " " on the pop-up prompt, the
spindle will not move.
Flat-emb Flat embroidery thread trimming refers to a technique to cut
thread the bobbin thread and upper thread of the flat embroidery
trimming head. The mechanism will automatically complete the
thread trimming through a set of combined actions.
Manual Click manual color change, system will pop up the window
color change

as , operator can change the

color according to their own requirements, select the needle

position to be changed and click , the needle bar

will change to the selected needle position .

2.3.5 Production status at Upper right column

As shown in Fig. 2-8, there are 7 items to show the production status:
1. Working time counting: minutes as the time unit is minutes, it will not be saved
when power off, and it will be counted again after power on.
2. Current needle position: Display the current working needle bar serial number.
Note: When it shows as a negative, it means that the needle bar is not in the correct
position.
3. Main shaft angle: The range of the main shaft angle is 0°~360°. When the icon

shows as a hollow circle " " , it means that the main shaft is not at zero position;

when it shows as a circle with cross " ", it means that the main shaft is at zero
position;

4. Current color sequence: the sequence number of working color.
5. Stitches Qty. index: it shows total number of stitches which has worked.
6. Absolute coordinates: Display the actual coordinate position of current embroidery
frame .
7. Relative coordinates: the coordinate position of current embroidery frame relative
to the embroidery start-point .

2.3.6 Speed Adjusting at right middle column

Fig. 2-9 is the nixie tube display, indicating current working spindle rotation speed. It

can be adjusted by clicking the higher and lower arrow-icons, for speed

decreasing and for speed increasing, and the digital tube display will change

accordingly.

Note: When the working spindle is unknown (no pattern selected), the rotation speed
is displayed as 0.

2.4 Sudoku module at the right bottom column

Fig. 2-10 is Sudoku module for the basic operations tool menu.
1. Forward and backward function: through decreasing or increasing the total
numbers of stitches, to move backward or forward the pattern working position, and

the frame will move to the corresponding position after confirmation.
2. Machine-locking function: to switch machine working state, when it is set to not
allow to work, the machine will not start. Note: This function is used for machine
safety maintenance.
3. Simulating work function: this operation will help to pattern simulating work, but
the spindle does not move, and the others work normally.
4. Interface screen locking function: switch between screen locking and unlocking,
all other keys on the interface cannot be operated if the screen locked.
5. Manual frame-moving function: to control the front, back, left, and right
movement of the embroidery frame)

Click the "Forward and Back" icon, middle screen will display the embroidery pattern,

as shown in Fig. 2-11 . Click to , it will return to the first stitch of

pattern; click then , it will move to the last stitch of the pattern; if click

then , the stitches index will be reduced back 100, and the pattern in
the screen will show as 100 stitches backward. The stitches display as in icon

on top will also change. Click and , it returns to the previous

color sequence; click and , it enters the next color sequence. At same

time, the value of displayed color sequence in icon will also change. After
confirmation, the embroidery frame will also move to the corresponding position.

2.4.2 Machine lock function


The default icon is " " with “√” in it, which means the machine is allowed to
work currently. The interface is shown in Fig. 2-1 2 .

When click the icon button, it switches to " " with “×” in it, and an icon " " will
appear in the status column at bottom, indicating that the machine is not allowed to
work. The interface is shown in Fig. 2-13 .

2.4.3 Simulation work function

The default icon is " " with two hyphens under the two needles, indicating

normal working status, the main shaft and x, y can move, as shown in the interface of

" " will appear in the status column at bottom, indicating that the machine is
currently in the simulated working state. In this state, the spindle will not move after
start, and X,Y shafts can move. As shown in Fig. 2-15 .

speed levels of manual frame-moving can be adjusted by parameters, but the three
levels of main shaft running speed are fixed at 10r/min, 50r/min, and 100r/min.)

The bottom status bar is shown in Fig. 2-20 .

Connection status: Indicates whether the machine is properly connected to the


motherboard . There are three values: Not connected, Connecting, Ready.

Not connected: When the machine is not connected to the motherboard , it will
display not connected.

Connecting: When the machine is connecting but not successfully connected, it will
display connecting.

Ready: When the machine is connected to the main board , it will display ready.

Machine status: Current working head, such as chenille, flat embroidery, coiling, etc.

System Time: Displays the current system time.

2.5 Embroidery function description

User Guide: to do embroidery, first click the embroidery function on the main
interface, system enters a sub-interface; and customers can choose the corresponding

functions according to their own requirements.

2.5.1 Border embroidery


When click the border embroidery icon, a dialog as Fig. 2-21 will pop up, click
to operate, and pay attention to the prompts, “machine will move, please operate
carefully”. After the operation done, system calculates the pattern border to generate
temporary data, ready for embroidery, and returns to the main interface with the
auxiliary embroidery icon. Pull the bar to start border embroidery. Border embroidery
is to take the maximum value of the border of the pre-selected pattern to create a
rectangle. After the border embroidery is finished, it will automatically return to the
previous state of preparation for pattern embroidery. If accidentally enter the wrong
interface, click to exit. See Fig. 2-21.

2.5.2 Applique embroidery

There are two kinds of applique embroidery: by color and by stitches number. By
color is to set the distance of the frame corresponding to the color sequence, by
stitches number is to set the distance of the frame corresponding to the stitch. After
setting, embroidery work will stop when it reaches the set color order or the set stitch
order, and frame moves out for manual patching. Following table 2-4 is the parameter
descriptions.

1.Alternate-Head embroidery
It is the embroidery that separates one or several heads between two heads.
First click Super User and enter Interface configuration, then set the three functions to
YES as shown in Fig. 2-25 below.

When select mode , the flat embroidery heads will work in odd numbers, and

lights on the working head will also turn green; when select mode, flat
embroidery heads will work in even numbers, and green lights on these heads will be

on. When select mode, all the flat embroidery heads will work, and green light
on all heads. Under the three modes, operator can manually click any head number to
cancel or add to do embroidery work.
2.Double heads combination embroidery
It is based on the combination of two flat embroidery heads. If one head has 9 color
sequences, then the two heads are 18 color sequences. In this way, patterns of more
colors can be done.
Enter color sequence setting interface, click the double-head combined embroidery

icon , and the second head color sequence will pop up. Then set the color

sequence for each needle. As shown in Fig. 2-29 below.

3.Three-head combination embroidery


This is based on the combination of three flat embroidery heads. If one head has 9
color sequences, then three heads have 27 color sequences. So, patterns of more
colors can be embroidered.

embroidery icon , and the second and third heads color sequence will pop up, then

to set the each needle’s color sequence, as shown in Fig. 2-30 below.

Double-head combined embroidery and three-head combined embroidery are


suitable for large area embroidery or large color quantity embroidery.

Chapter 3 Parameter configuration Wizard

In order to do the embroidery work correctly and achieve the best embroidery effect
as per actual needs, the embroidery machine parameter configuration guidance is very
important for the operators. Therefore, must carefully study and understand how to set
and use the parameters, to ensure high-quality embroidery.

3.1 Parameter configuration of embroidery machine


After getting the embroidery machine, first check whether any main parts or control
panel are damaged. If no damages, then connect power to the whole system, and Pay
attention to the safety of electricity. After power-on, observe whether the control HMI
lights up. If it does not light up, contact the supplier immediately.

Communication method is fixed as network port com., machine type is fixed as 000
embroidery machine, and model is fixed as flat embroidery. The remaining functions

this function then click YES after the option, or else, click NO. And so on. After
setting up, confirm and Click . And the interface will restart automatically. As

The third step is to set the traversal function. Return to the main interface, same
find “Super User” in the “Assist Function”, See Fig. 3-10.

If the machine parameters are set to 10 heads, there will be 1N, 2N, ... 9N, 10N

signs below, click Nos of traversals, from single traversal to all traversals, click

, all the heads will turn red , Turn up the DIP switch on the machine heads, the

LED light will flash red and green alternately, observe that 1N, 2N, etc. on the screen
change to 1Y, 2Y, etc., then it is successfully done. (Note: When turning on the heads
switch, need to wait for the previous head to flash then proceed to the next head
traversal.) As shown in Fig. 3-13. After the traversal of all machine heads is
completed, all machine heads lights will be off first, and then automatically turn on
sequentially.

4.1 All Zeroing


"All zeroing" usually refers to zeroing of X, Y and spindle , and zeroing of motors,
for re-calibrating the motor position.

hold to rotate clockwise, and hold to rotate counterclockwise. When

click " " button, the pop-up closes and the main shaft will not move. The

4.7 Set offset point

The offset point is the position of frame stopping when the applique fabric needs to
put or embroidery work finishes. After setting the offset point, the frame will move to
the preset offset point when the machine receives the offset command, waiting for
next operation. Or the frame moves to the offset point when the embroidery work
done.
Click the "Set Offset Point" icon, the pop-up with prompt "If to set the current point
as the offset point?", click " " to execute the operation, and it will set the current
position as the offset point . Click " " to cancel the operation. The interface is

point from the current position. Offset point coordinate parameters are related to:

4.9 Set the embroidery start-point

Embroidery start-point has to be set before pattern stitching work. Click icon "Fix
EMB start point", a pop-up with prompt "If to set the current point as the start point?"
Click" " to execute the operation, and set the current position as the start point
of embroidery. Click " " to cancel the operation and pop-up will close. As
shown in Fig. 4-9.

4.10 Back to embroidery start-point

This is to make the frame return to the EMB start point. Computer has memory
function for EMB start point. Under normal circumstances (for example, the power is
not turned off to push the embroidery frame, etc.), after re-selecting the pattern in the
memory, operate "return to the start-point" will make the embroidery frame move to
the last embroidery start point of the pattern; In abnormal circumstances, please pay
attention whether the limit switch is working properly, to prevent frame collision.
Click "Back to Emb. start-point" icon, a pop-up with prompting "Machine is about
to move, please pay attention to safety!", click " " to execute the operation, and
the machine will return to the preset start emb point from current position. Click "

After defining the starting embroidery point, check the stitching border to avoid it
over the frame and damage the machine.
Click "Border Check" icon, a pop-up with prompt "Machine is going to move,

right, up, and down to check whether the pattern will exceed the frame range. Click
" " to cancel the operation.
If the pattern does not exceed the range of the embroidery frame, it will
automatically return to the EMB start-point after the check is completed; if it exceeds
the frame range, the computer will automatically find a nearby point as the start-point,
and check the border again. When the pattern embroidery exceeds the range, an error
message will be displayed: X positive limit/X negative limit/Y positive limit/Y
negative limit. As shown in Fig. 4-11.

Chapter 6 Memory Pattern Management
Memory pattern management refers to the function of storing various patterns and
pattern data in the memory and being able to manage, retrieve and use these data in
the embroidery machine. Usually, the pattern data is generated by a computer or input
into the embroidery machine from other sources, imported into the system through a
USB disk, and stored in the memory of the embroidery machine.

6.1 Pattern selection

Find and enter "Pattern Setting" from "Main Interface", then find "Pattern
Selection". There in the interface will display all the existing patterns of the machine.
Click the required pattern file, and the relevant information of the pattern will be
displayed on the right. Followings are the operation steps.

1. Click “Pattern Selection” icon " " in “Pattern Setting” interface shown in Fig.
6-1.

2. After enter “Pattern Selection” interface, there will be all the patterns displaying.

Y-direction compensation is a small displacement adjustment in
the vertical direction to make the embroidery thicker or thinner
Y- compensation in the y-direction to meet customer needs. The input value is
between (-3000.0~3000.0) mm. The unit is 0.1mm, that is, 200
means 20mm.
The inserted jump stitch size is each step distance along the
processing path , and the input value is between

"X-axis Offset allowance" refers to the allowable offset degree

sequence of the pattern can be set in the yellow box area on the left. The Fig. shows

1. Click the color sequence icon that needs to be set in this pattern.
2. Then click the icon from the embroidery needle bar, which is the position indicated
by the mark 2.
3. At this time, the corresponding color sequence icon of the pattern is displayed
same color in embroidery needle bar 1, as shown in Fig. 6-8.

The preview image at right dynamically displays which embroidery needle bar is
used in which position of the design according to the selected color sequence. In
addition, it also displays pattern name, total stitches, total colors, beginning stitches of
the current color sequence, end stitches of the current color sequence, needle bar
selection and other information.

the pattern file you need to import, and the preview image of the pattern and related
information of the pattern will be displayed at right.

Super user refers to the user with the highest authority of the system. Superusers
are often referred to as administrators or ROOT users. Set parameter configuration,
etc. (Customers are prohibited from modifying without manufacturer’s permission)
The following describes Super User configuration password and basic functions.
Find and enter the super user management interface from Main Interface, shown as
Fig. 8-1. The super user password is 262574. And the highest authority password is
951103, which can modify more things.

There are two resolutions, one is 1024×600, and the other is 1920 × 1080. The

communication method is fixed as network port communication, the machine type is


fixed as 000 embroidery machine, and the product type is fixed as pure flat
embroidery machine. The remaining functions are config.d according to the user's
requirements, such as whether there is a function of beads embroidery; click YES if
have, otherwise click NO. Click after setting is complete.

XY zeroing running XY zeroing running speed, is the speed of the machine

position. Homing to zero position is mainly to ensure the
machining accuracy, so zeroing running speed needs to be
controlled within an appropriate range.
XY no-load running XY no-load running speed is the frame automatic moving
speed speed, with moving at the direction of X axis and Y axis.
XY walking acceleration XY travel acceleration is the acceleration in the X- axis
and Y -axis directions. Acceleration is the amount by
which an object's speed increases per unit of time.

If the machine parameters are set to 10 heads, there will be 1-N, 2-N, ... 9-N,
10-N signs below, click “Nos of traversals”, change the single traversal to all traversal,
click all the machine heads and all will turn red, and turn the switches on the heads,
the LED light will flash red and green alternately, when 1-N, 2-N, etc. on the screen
change to 1-Y, 2-Y, etc., then traverse successfully done. (Note: When turning the
head switch, need to wait for the previous head to flash then proceeding to the next
head traverse.) As shown in Fig. 8-22. After all heads traversal completed, all heads
lights will go out, and then automatically turn on sequentially.

Chapter 9 Wireless Pattern Transmission Operation
Instructions
The "wireless pattern transfer" operation is a data transmission method
realized by wireless communication technology, and is usually used to transfer data or
files between devices. Turn on the device that needs to transmit data and the device
that receives data, make sure they are both connectable and support the same wireless
communication protocol. Select data or files to be transferred from the sending device,
usually by long pressing the file and selecting an option such as "Share" or "Send".
“Wireless Pattern Transfer” or “Wifi” can be found in the menu, some interface are
slightly different for different devices and operation systems. Search for devices that
can be connected around and select one to receive data. The wireless pattern transfer
operation needs to establish a stable connection between the transmitting devices.

9.1 Operation instructions for wireless pattern transfer


1. Click << Auxiliary Function >> on the < Main Interface > , and find
<<<WIFI>>> . As shown in Fig. 9-1 .

Chapter 10 Basic Steps to Start Embroidery
10.1 Basic flow chart of embroidery
Following operation flow instructions for the operators who is the first time to
use the machine, and much helpful for the experienced operators to reconfirm the
operation process.

【Explanation】: The dotted line box indicates an operation that is not required every
time, you can skip it and go to the next step directly.

10.2 Power on and start


Connect the power supply to the electric control cabinet, press the green start
button on the front of the electric control box, and operation panel box will light on,
then enter the main interface to start the operation.
If there is no main switch, connect the power supply, and release all emergency
stop buttons, then press the green start button to start.

10.3 Use of Embroidery Operating Pull-Bar
Parking state: In the parking state, pull it to left to continue reversing, and the
embroidery frame will move synchronously, and pull it again to stop reversing; keep
pulling to left for quick-back, embroidery frame keeping still at this time, release the
bar to reverse the frame, and move to the corresponding position .
Working state: During the working state, hold the pulling bar to the right for
low-speed embroidery, release it to return to the original speed; pull the lever to the
left to stop embroidery;
Switching from Working state to the Simulating state: continuously pulling the bar to
the right, the stitches index will move forward rapidly, and after releasing, the index
stops, and the embroidery frame works to the corresponding position.

10.4 Instructions for mending embroidery


After the stitches index returns, pull the bar to mend the embroidery to the
thread-breakage head and other heads keep still. During the embroidery process, due
to thread breakage and other reasons, some machine heads may lose stitches. At this
time, the indicator light on the head will light up in red in time. Reverse the bar to the
missing stitching point, flip the switch upward, and the light will flash red and green
alternately, then pull the bar to start the mending embroidery. After mending job done,
light will not flash, and all the machine heads will work normally with green lights
on.

10.5 How to start embroidery for the first time
Computerized machine embroidery is based on the patterns stored in its memory.
Follow the steps below before using the new machine for the first time:
Step 1 : Import the patterns you need to embroider into the system memory with USB
disk, select and confirm the stitching pattern from the memory. (See 6.2
Pattern Parameter Setting in Chapter 6 for details )
Step 2 : Set embroidery parameters, mainly including:
(1) Setting of starting embroidery point and offset point (see Chapter 4 Shortcut
Function Introduction 4.9 Setting Embroidery Start-Point, 4.10 Back to Embroidery
Start-Point, 4.8 Back to Offset Point)
(2) Border checking, confirm the embroidery range of the pattern, to prevent frame
collision during embroidery. (For details, please refer to the detailed description of the

(3) Setting of color sequence and color-changing start mode (see Chapter 6 Memory
Design Management 6.1 Pattern Setting, 6.3 Color Sequence Setting and 6.2 Pattern

(4) If color sequence is not set, Color changing and working head switching can be
done by manual. (see Chapter 6 Memory Pattern Tube 6.1 Pattern Setting 6.3 Color

Step 3: After finishing the above steps, pull the embroidery bar under the table to the

11.1 Operation instructions for Automatic Bobbin Change (ABC)


Power on the machine before operation. Find “Interface configuration” from

roulette; the roulette motor will rotate and send the bobbin case and bobbin with
thread to the manipulator, and the manipulator takes and put it to the rotary hook. In
this way, embroidery efficiency can be greatly improved, saving much bobbin
changing time.
This section explains how to set the station number of the device (485
communication ) and some other uses , and the normal functions of the device ( such
as grippers , swing arms, etc. ) are not described here.
1. How to disable the device :
Click the all-head-changing button, and the digital tube will display - ; if you want to
make the device work again , click the initial button on this basis.
If the device is controlled by 485 communication mode, it is necessary to set the
station number ; if it is controlled by IO mode , this operation is not required.
2. How to enter the station number setting state :
Click the all-head-changing button three times continuously (the first time displays -,
the second time displays _, the third time enters the station number setting state ,
displays the current station number of the device , and the station numbers are sorted
from 0 to 9, and then from A to Z, Indicates 0-9, 10-35 respectively, where 0 indicates
that the device has no station number )
After the setting is completed , click the all-head-changing button again to save the
station number and restart the device
When in the state of setting the station number :
Gripper button : station number +10
Swing arm button : station number +1
Turntable button : station number -10
Single-change button : station number -1
Initial key : exit station number setting
After installing the automatic bobbin changing device, it is difficult to pick up and
put on the bobbins by manual, so add one button of automatic bobbin pick-up and

Click the all-head-changing button, the digital tube displays - , then click the
single-change button to automatically take off the bobbin (when there is vacancy on
the roulette. )
Click the all-head-change button, the digital tube displays _ , then click the

is bobbin in the roulette and no bobbin on the machine head. )

11.2 Description of Double Sequins Device


Power on the machine with sequin devices before operation. Find “Interface
configuration” from “Super User”, then find “ Whether there is sequin function”, turn
the option from No to Yes, and click to confirm, as shown in Fig. 11-5 below.

in the opposite direction, please check whether the program version is correct (left

11.3 Operation instructions of multi-sequin device


Use N8B to control multi-sequin device, currently it can control 8-sequin device.

4. Click + or - button to modify the parameters, short-press the SET button to switch
the digit to be modified ( unit’s or ten’s ), and the modified digit will flash; if you are
not satisfied with the modified value and want to restore to the original value, press
and hold + or - button.
5. Short press the MODE button to switch the parameter type
6. P-XX indicates sequin out displacement of the current color sequence, Y-XX
indicates the vertical color-changing displacement of current color sequence , d-XX
indicates the current device type , and XX is the parameter value
7. After parameters modified, click PUSH button to feed out sequins, or press and

hold the LEFT or RIGHT button to make the vertical color change motor move to the
modified parameter position to check whether the parameters are applicable.

this time, you can directly modify it without exiting
9. After modification , you can press and hold SET button to save the data.
10. If need to quit halfway, press and hold MODE button to exit the parameter setting.

restart the operation.

value can be 1 plus when short-pressing; long press to restore to the original value
before modifying

Debugging instructions :
When using the device for the first time , it is necessary to adjust the zero position of
the bead-out motor. Loosen the load side of the bead-out motor, and then reset the
bead-out motor through the keypad until the motor is zeroing successful, then push
the load side to the ready position and fix. This position is motor zero position.
Parameter Description:
F1 on: bead-clamping force, the bigger the value, the greater the force.
F2 on: feeding speed, the bigger the value, the faster the speed.

When using the device for the first time, it is necessary to adjust the zero position of
the bead-out motor. Loosen the load side of the bead-out motor, and then reset the
bead-out motor through the keypad until the motor is zeroing successful, then push
the load side to the ready position and fix. This position is motor zero position. Or
after motor zeroing successfully, switch to manual mode, click OK button to make the
motor in bead extraction position, and push load to the end ( leave about 2mm gap to
the final end) and fix it.
Parameter Description:
Four digital 8-segment digital tube is used as the display module.
The 1st digital tube displays " P " , it indicates that it is in the parameter setting mode
at this time.
The 2nd digital tube displays " A " or " B " , indicating that the current setting is the
parameter of Bead A or Bead B.
The 3rd digital tube displays the beads clamping force, the bigger the value, the greater
the strength.
The 4th digital tube displays the bead-feeding speed, the bigger the value, the faster
the speed.

Press SET button: switch Bead A or Bead B parameters; and Press "↑" or "↓" button to
modify the corresponding parameter data. After modification is completed, click OK
button to save the data and exit; or directly click MODE button to return to the

The user can change the potentiometer value through the gear position, and the motor
drives the needle bar to rise and fall to judge the height.

If switch the motor gear to 10 , click and the motor drives the needle bar to lift

corresponding to the 10th gear. If the gear value is 10 for the current gear, click
to cancel the changes. As shown in Fig. 12-8 .

Chapter 13 _ Operation instructions for coiling embroidery


13.1 Instructions for the first start-up of coiling embroidery
Power on the machine with mixed coiling embroidery function before operation.
Find “Interface configuration” from “Super User”, then find “ Whether there is coiling
emb. function”, turn the option from No to Yes, and click to confirm, as
shown in Fig. 13-1 below.

The interface pops up "Settings will take effect after HMI restarts". Confirm with
, and wait for the screen to exit interface, then restart, as shown in Fig. 13-2.

As shown in Fig. 13-3 below, the updated functions about mixed coiling embroidery
will be displayed in the Auxiliary Function interface, including Coiling M-axis angle,
Coiling bobbin-thread detection and Coiling upper-thread detection,

Click “Coiling M axis angle” to set M-axis rotate angle as shown in pop-up Fig. 13-4.

Set the M axis angle, the input value range is 0~360 degrees. Click spindle angle
0°, 90°, 180°, 270° in the middle column to control the M-axis rotation angle, turn to
the corresponding angle position, and confirm with to execute the operation .

Press and hold to rotate clockwise, and hold to rotate

counterclockwise. When click , Pop-up will close and M axis will not move.
(Note: When pressing the rotation button, Set the rotation speed in Machine
Parameters from Auxiliary Function)
Click “Coiling Bobbin thread detection”, and pop-up will be shown as in Fig. 13-5.

Click to start detection, and the light on the machine head will flash red,

turn the bobbin thread wheel, and the light will turn green. is for detection
pausing.

Click “Coiling upper thread detection”, and pop-up will be shown as in Fig. 13-6.

Click to start detection, and the light on the machine head will flash

red, turn the bobbin thread wheel, and the light will turn green. is for
detection pausing.

13.2 Coiling parameter settings


According to the machine configuration, set the machine parameters of coiling
embroidery from Super User interface, and there are Coiling headlock type, Coiling
jump-stitch frame-changing stitches, etc. As shown in Fig. 13-7 below.

Coiling headlock type Electromagnetic Headlocking or Motor Headlocking.

Coiling jump-stitch Mixed coiling embroidery jump-stitch frame-changing

Coiling color-changing Two modes coiling color-changing: automatic start and


start mode manual start. Automatic start means that the machine
automatically moves to the next needle position after
detecting one needle position finishes working. In manual
mode, the machine does not automatically change colors
and waits for manual pulling the lever to proceed to the
next step.
