INT. CAFETERIA - DAY


Linh rummages in her bag and holds up two bracelets. She
puts the bracelet onto Rose's wrist. A student approaches
the duo and introduces themself. Rose gestures them to sit
down and the three hang out together.

The new student exchanges their number with the two.

INT. ROSE'S ROOM - NOON


Messages are sent back and forth by Linh and Rose when
suddenly a notification pops up from the new number.

A close up shot of the new student and Linh saying hello to


each other.

EXT. OUTSIDE - NOON


Rose is waiting outside the school for Linh. She shows up
and they go out together. In the middle of their hang out, a
ping goes off on Linh's phone.

It's the new student, they're asking if she's free


afterschool to hang out, and she replies by saying she's
free tomorrow. Rose is curious, she points to Linh's phone
and she answers with a wave, shaking her head to show its
nothing important.

INT. CAFETERIA - DAY


The pair is talking when the new student says hello to Linh,
Rose waves her hand but the student only looks at Linh. They
sit down next to Linh and begin talking.

EXT. SCHOOL ENTRANCE - NOON


Linh is waiting outside. Rose walks out the door and waves
at Linh. She points her finger, saying they should go but
Linh points to her phone, saying she's waiting for someone.
They wait for the new student and all walk home together.

EXT. ROAD TO HOME - NOON


The student and Linh talk to each other. Rose walks to the
side, occasionally glancing to the two talking but keep to
herself. She tries pulling on Linh's jacket but she doesn't
notice her. She looks vaguely annoyed.

INT. ROSE'S ROOM - NIGHT


CLOSE UP PHONE SHOT

Rose texts Linh voicing her annoyance, but Linh brushes it


off by texting everything is fine.

ABOVE SHOT

Drops down on her bed in frustration, and stare at phone


longingly. She shuts her phone and pull her blanket up to go
to bed.

INT. CAFETERIA - DAY


Rose walks into the cafeteria and she's surprised to find
Linh and the student already sitting and talking to each
other. She sits down, opens her mouth to try to join in but
gets ignored. A close up of her bored, staring at the two
talking as the bell rings.

EXT. SCHOOL ENTRANCE - NOON


Rose spots the two talking to each other, she hurries down
the stairs to catch them. They start leaving.

She pulls on Linh's jacket. It has to be the hand with the


bracelet.

Rose's eyes dart to the new student, then back to Linh. She
tilts her head in question. Linh turns back, taking her
phone out to show a location they're heading to. Waves Rose
goodbye and leave.
WIDE SHOT

The two leaves gleefully while Rose stands in her spot.

CLOSE UP

Rose fidgeting with her bracelet.

INT. ROSE'S ROOM - NIGHT


Rose opens her phone and text Linh. There are other messages
that haven't been answered yet. Linh leaves her on seen.

Dark room. The only light being the phone light illuminates
Rose's sad face.

INT. CAFETERIA - DAY


Rose sitting bored while the both talk.

EXT. SCHOOL ENTRANCE - NOON


Rose watches as Linh leaves with her friend after school
ends.

INT. ROSE'S ROOM - NIGHT


Messages on Rose's phone that haven't been replied to.

NOTE: Repeat. It's like a montage of them growing more apart


day after day by taking the same shots in the same
locations/scenes with slightly different actions to show the
passage of time.

EXT. HANG OUT - NOON


Linh's phone buzzes with several notifications from Rose,
she takes a look at her phone and turn off the phone. Going
back to what she was doing before.

INT. CAFETERIA - DAY


Rose is sitting at the cafeteria across the two who are
lively chatting. She rolls her eyes, gets up and tries to
leave. Linh notices her leaving and tries to follow her.

INT. HALLWAY - DAY


Linh pulls Rose's arm back and they stare at each other for
a minute. Linh pulls on Rose's arm and look back, saying
they should held back.

Rose rips Linh's arm away and push her. She says something
in anger but Linh shakes her head. They start arguing.

Rose takes her bracelet off in anger and throw it at Linh,


then she stomps away in anger, leaving Linh standing alone
in the hallway.

Linh looks at the bracelet on the floor silently. A close up


of her hand picking it up and she inspects it. Eventually
pocketing the bracelet.

INT. ROSE'S ROOM - NIGHT


Rose is laying on the bed, she has Linh's contact pulled up
and is staring at it. Her thumb hovers over the block button
but she hesitates. Sigh in frustration. Puts the phone down
and roll over onto the other side to sleep.

INT. CAFETERIA - DAY


Rose walks past the cafeteria, Linh tries to talk to her but
is ignored. Rose shrugs her off and walk away.

EXT. SCHOOL ENTRANCE - NOON


Linh opens the door, talking to her friend when she notices
Rose already walking out. She tries to call for Rose but she
just glances at her and leave.

INT. ROSE'S ROOM - NOON


Rose is scrolling on her phone when suddenly there's a knock
on the door. She opens the door to find Linh standing there.
She smiles awkwardly and wave her hand. She reaches into the
pocket with the bracelet but Rose slams the door in
annoyance before she could say anything.

INT. CAFETERIA - DAY


Linh stares at Rose as she passes by without a word.

EXT. SCHOOL ENTRANCE - NOON


Linh looks tired as she only slightly respond to her
friend's message, distracted by Rose walking away. She takes
out her phone which shows her trying to send multiple text
messages to Rose but they've only been seen.

INT. ROSE'S ROOM - NIGHT


She looks at all the messages Linh sends, she tries to text
Linh multiple texts but end up deleting all of them and
shutting her phone off anyways.

INT. HALLWAY - MORNING


Linh tries to get Rose to talk to her by catching her in the
hallway and holding tightly onto her arm so Rose can't
leave. Rose looks angry but Linh lowers her head sightly to
apologize. She releases Rose and takes a bracelet out of her
hand.

Rose glances away, thinking if she should just go but then


her attention is grabbed when Linh pulls out the bracelet.
Linh takes the bracelet and hold it into view.

They stare at each other, Rose turns away, and then turn
back to look at Linh who's still looking at her. She loos
apprehensive but eventually nods her head and Linh slips the
bracelet onto her wrist. They hold each other's hands and
smile.
