INTRODUCTION
The PM Usha Project Management System is a comprehensive
web-based platform designed to enhance project tracking,
resource allocation, and financial management at SNDT Women’s
University. With funding received under the Pradhan Mantri
Uchchatar Shiksha Abhiyan (PM-USHA), the university aims to
improve infrastructure, academic programs, and technological
advancements.
OBJECTIVE
Objective for the PM Usha Project Management System is as follows:
Streamline project execution and fund utilization under PM-USHA.
Enable real-time tracking, financial monitoring, and role-based task
management.
Improve transparency, accountability, and decision-making.
Reduce administrative workload through digital documentation and
automated alerts.
Ensure effective resource allocation for university projects.
LITERATURE SURVEY
EXISTING SYSTEM
Project Management System – Manual tracking using spreadsheets leads
to inefficiencies, delays, and scattered updates.
Financial Management System – Fund tracking is manual, causing errors,
delays, and misallocation of PM-USHA funds.
Communication & Collaboration System – Fragmented communication
through emails and meetings slows decision-making.
Document Management System – No centralized repository, making
audits, compliance, and document retrieval difficult.
Monitoring & Reporting System – Manual reporting lacks real-time
insights, affecting project tracking and decision-making.
PROPOSED SYSTEM
Centralized Web-Based Platform – Built using React (Frontend) & Firebase (Backend) for
real-time project & financial tracking.
