ADMISSIONS 2024-25

FOR THE KIND ATTENTION OF PARENTS & STUDENTS

The Candidates who seek admission into B.Tech. courses under Convener
Quota (Category “A”) and Management Quota (Category “B”) opting CIVIL,
EEE, ECE, MECHATRONICS (MCT), MECHANICAL ENGINEERING
(MECH) and METALLURGICAL AND MATERIALS ENGINEERING (MMT)
Courses (Major Degree) at MGIT for the academic year 2024-25 can also
pursue an additional Minor Engineering Degree in CSE & its allied
branches of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning / Cyber Security /
Data Science / Internet of Things (IOT) / Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
For this the candidate has to obtain 160 credits for Major Degree and
18 credits for Minor Degree in four years of undergraduate study.
For example, a candidate who has joined Mechanical Engineering
undergraduate course can obtain Major Degree in Mechanical Engineering
and Minor Degree in CSE (AI&ML) and so on.

AICTE is offering Stipend like Young Achievers Scholarship and Holistic


Academic Skills Venture Initiative (YASHASVI scheme 2024) for CIVIL,
EEE, ECE, MCT, MECH and MME Undergraduate Students.
