1 General

The eNetMain, a redundant network communication program based on eNet protocol, has been designed to
acquire data, provide data service, and implement the following functions such as: network diagnosis, data
processing, alarm analysis, event log etc. It’s the bridge between software and hardware in the NT6000 System.

1.1 Main Interface

DPU: The DPU number defined in the system.
HMI: The number of human machine interface defined in the system.
TAG: The number of I/O Tag defined in the system.
HMIID: Local machine name, the first number stands for network segment ID, and the last three number
stands for machine ID.
USER: The current logged-on user name.
SYS: The system has occurred hardware alarm, including DPU, Card and HMI etc., when background color
is red. We can view more detailed information on the program SYSDIAG.
ALM: The system has occurred processing parameter alarm, including exceed high or low limit, equipment
fault etc., when background color is red.
RUN: The system status vary with background corlor, green stands for Run Mode (Text display: RUN), red
stands for Emulation Mode (Text display: SIM), and yellow stands for Debug Mode (Text display: DEG).

NETA/NETB: The network communication status is normal when background color is green or blue, and
failure when red.

1.2 Main Menu

Click the button ‘ ‘ on the main interface, then main menu of system will pop-up, as shown in Figure 1.2.

About: Examine copyright information of the eNetMain.
Login: Login to system user, the same as ‘Security Management’ button on Main interface.
Logout: Logout current user.
System Service: Provide reload and download services of system.
Event Log: Provide the functions such as log clear, log filter, auto scroll etc.
Utility Program: Be the same as ‘Utility Program’ button on Main Interface.
Run Mode: The tag file won’t automatically update on this mode.
Debug Mode: The tag file will automatically update on this mode.
Emulation Mode: The system is on emulation mode.
Exit: Exit the eNetMain program.

Reload: Reload all the system services.
Download Tag Table: Download tag table from the configuration station.
Download Configuration File: Download local configuration file from the configuration station.
Download Graphic Support File: Download graphic support file about tag and device aliases from the
configuration station.
Notify all stations to download tag table: Notify all synchronous stations to download tag table from the
configuration station.
Notify all stations to download configuration file: Notify all synchronous stations to download local
configuration file from the configuration station.
Notify all stations to download support file: Notify all synchronous stations to download support file from
the configuration station.

1.3 Function Button


Local Configuration: Set and view local HMI configuration item, for details, see the Local Configuration
chapter.
System Diagnosis: Open the system diagnosis screen, for details, see the System Diagnosis chapter.
Logical Configuration: Open the logical configuration tool for DPU.
Data View: Open the data view screen, for details, see the Data View chapter.
GraphX Make: Open the graphic configuration tool for HMI.
GraphX View: Open the graphic view tool for HMI.
Security Management: Manage logon user permission of the system.
Utility Program:Open other tools.

2 System Diagnosis(SYSDIAG)

The SYSDIAG program can detect all the faults of the system hardware, including:
☆ DPU synchronization fault
☆ DPU communication fault
☆ Card communication fault
☆ System power fault
☆ HMI communication fault
☆ The overload use fault of CPU, memory and hard disk of HMI.
Figure2.1 shows the interface and legend of the SYSDIAG program, we can get more detail information after
clicking on the legend ‘ ‘ when system status is normal.

Click the DPU unit legend, then enter the card diagnostics interface as shown in Figure 2.2, we can also get
more detail information about fault by clicking the card.

Figure 3.1 shows tag view interface, which could shows information about current value, communication
status, description, alarm zone, security zone of defined tags in the system.

4 System Configuration(SYSCFG)

The main function of system configuration includes:


☆ Control Unit Configuration
☆ Basic Settings
☆ HMI Configuration
☆ User Account Configuration
☆ Configuration View

Please input the administrator account and password befor starting the SYSCFG program , and the
initial password is:12345678.

If password is invalid, the prompt dialog will pop-up.

Figure 4.3 shows the SYSCFG main interface when password is correct. The configuration management item
is on the left side, and the main configuration interface is on the right side.

4.1 Control Unit Configuration(DPU)


The control unit configuration interface, as shown in Figure 4.4, will pop-up after clicking the control unit
item on the left side or the view button of control unit on the interface as shown in Figure 4.3.

You can click the button ‘Add Network’ to configure a new network or click the button ‘Delete network’ to
delete the network includes DPU on the control unit interface, which shows the basic information in the system.
Figure 4.5 shows the wizard with three steps about new network:

In step 1, the network name can only be from Network1 to Network8, no repeated. In step 2, select the
network switch address from 201 to 254, and click ‘Finish’ button in step 3 to get a new network as shown in
Figure 4.8.

The current network information including name, segment and type is shown on the network configuration
interface is shown in Figure 4.8, then click button to add or delete the item of DPU and switch.
Figure 4.10 shows the add switch interface.

Figure 4.11 shows the new DPU wizard, choose DPU type and DPU name that consist of a string ‘DPU’,
network ID and DPU address (from 1 to 49), then use the default setting to get a new DPU object.

Figure 4.14 shows the DPU configuration interface, more DPU can be add to the system in the same way.

4.2 Basic Setting


Figure 4.15 shows the basic setting interface including alarm zone, ftp server, security zone, station feature
and station templates.

4.2.1 Security Zone


The security zone configuration interface, as shown in Figure 4.16, will pop-up after the security zone item
on the left side tree or the ‘Configure’ button of security zone on main interface have been clicked.

Figure 4.16 shows the security zone configuration interface, of which on the left side shows the used security
zone and the right side shows reserved. We can add and delete the item from each other through the middle two
buttons. In addition, the security zone description could be modified by double-click, but security zone ID(only
from S001 to S256) can’t be modified.

4.2.2 Alarm Zone

Similarly, Figure 4.17 shows the alarm zone configuration interface, of which on the left side shows the used
alarm zone and the right side shows reserved alarm zone. We can add and delete the item from each other through
the middle two buttons. In addition, the alarm zone description could be modified by double-click, but alarm zone
ID (only from A001 to A256) can’t be modified.

4.2.3 Station Feature


Figure 4.18 shows the station feature configuration interface that can be used for configuring the current
installed software through the following three buttons: ‘Add’, ‘Delete’ and ‘Edit.

4.2.4 Station Templates


The station templates configuration interface, as shown in Figure 4.19, is to provide information including
DPU configuration and software list for engineer station, operator station, history station and interface station
when add a human machine interface(HMI). In addition, basic information depends on the station name.

4.3 HMI Configuration


On the HMI configuration interface, as shown in Figure 4.20, we can select the tree item on the left side or
click the main interface button on main interface to configure all kinds of HMI, including engineer station,
operator station, history station and interface station.

Figure 4.21 shows the engineer station configuration interface that is similar to other HMI stations. Double
click the display item on the list control and configure the HMI station.
Click the ‘Add’ button on engineer station, then a new HMI wizard will pop-up as shown in Figure 4.22. In
step 1, select the station type and station name, furthermore, engineer station name is from ES1001 to ES1010,
and operator station name is from OS1021 to OS1090, and history station name is from HS1011 to HS1020, and
interface station name is from IS1091 to IS1100.

If you check the control ‘Use the template configuration’, the following steps are omitted.

In step 2 of new HMI wizard, select the DPU items which extracted from this station and then used for the
eNet program.

In step 3, select the installed software the station need.

In step 4, click the ‘Finish’ button to get a new HMI station. We can also modify the station configuration
on the station configuration interface just like Figure4.21.

4.4 User Account


Figure 4.26 shows the user account configuration interface with three items as follows: User, User Group and
a super account Admin.

The system has a unique super account ‘Admin’ that has all permissions, you can click ‘Change Password’
button to change the account password.

User account is the member of User group account, so the User group account must be configured before the
User account. Equally, only the User group account that have no User account could be deleted. Figure 4.29
shows the current user group accounts in the system.

Figure 4.30 shows the interface of adding user group account, in which need to select the alarm zone and
software permission that the group have possessed, then finish the user group configuration.

You can also change copyright information of user group on the interface just like Figure 4.31.

Figure 4.32 shows all the current users that could be add, delete and edit in the system.

Click ‘Add’ button, then input basic information of the user and choose parent user group, finally a user will
be added after clicking ‘OK’ button. The add user dialog just like Figure 4.33.

A user has all permissions like its parent user group as shown in Figure 4.34. The user information about
description, parent user group and password can be changed on the user interface just like Figure 4.35.

4.5 Configuration View


On the SYSCFG main interface, as shown in Figure 4.3, click the ‘View’ button of configure view, then all
the configuration list will be shown just like Figure 4.36.

The system configuration files will generate after clicking ‘Apply’ button or ‘OK’ button. The file
‘basicset.ini’ includes the information about alarm zone, security zone, software and user template, and the file
‘dpuset.ini’ includes the information about network and DPU, and the file ‘accset.ini’ includes the information
about user accounts, and the file ‘modest.ini’ includes the information about Card configuration of DPU. The file
directory of above documents is ‘NT6000\Project\Sysdef\’, and the configuration of HMI station is in the
directory ‘NT6000\Project\Sysdef\NetworkX\HMIXXXX\’, while ‘NetworkX’ represents the network name, and
‘HMIXXXX’ consist of HMI station network name and HMI ID.

5 Local Configuration(LOCALCFG)

The main functions of local configuration are as follow:


☆ Change local configuration
☆ View system configuration
☆ Download and update system configuration from configure station

5.1 Change & download local configuration


On the LOCALCFG main interface, the basic information about local IP address, installation path and log
path are the default setting that should not be changed.

Figure 5.1 shows the configuration station that has no need to download configuration file.

Figure 5.2 shows the synchronization station. If this station don’t have configuration file, you can click
‘Notify configuration changes’ button to download after configuring the information about local network segment,
HMI_ID number, station type and the ID of configuration and synchronization station.
If the configuration file has been downloaded successfully, a prompt dialog will pop-up as shown in Figure
5.3, then click ‘Notify configuration changes’ button to finish local configuration. If the configuration file has

been downloaded failed just like Figure 5.4, please make sure the configuration of this station and configuration
station is correct, and if or not the configuration server service is start.

The ‘Startup’ item is used for configuring some startup services when operating system starts as shown in
Figure 5.5.

The ‘DPU’ item is used for defining available DPU that have been selected on the list control as shown in
Figure 5.6.

As shown in Figure 5.7, the ‘Task’ item is used for selecting some other software that can autorun when the
eNetMain starts. In order to improve system performance, software start-up sequence is recommended to control
by setting different delay time.

5.2 View System Configuration
Click the ‘System’ item after the configuration file has been downloaded, the entire system configuration
including user, user group, security zone, alarm zone, HMI and control unit will show just like Figure 5.8.

The NT6000 system configuration information appears after clicking ‘View’ button. In addition, the
configuration can’t be changed in client.

6 Event Log(LOGVIEWER)

The event log software LogViewer can storage, filter, query operating record and system alarm, which have
been timed uploaded to log server everyday. The log server merges operating record and system alarm of all
stations into the complete event log.
A log server that can merge logs need to be predefined in the system. And the default log file path is
‘E:\LOGLIB’. Notice: the file save path of operator station must be same with log server’s.
The log server should start FTP service for other stations to timed upload log file. And the default username
of FTP service is ‘Logs’, password is ‘12345678’.

6.1 Menu
As shown in Figure 6.1, all the functions of the LogView are as follows:

(1) Update: The operating records and system alarms will be updated to current time after clicking the

button .

(2) Display all information: All the operating records and system alarms of the operator station are displayed

after clicking the button . In addition, this function will out-of-order when filter function has started.
(3) Sifting: The related content can be sifted by one or more icons on toolbar, the functions icons are as
follow:

System Help Command Record Operation Record

Refuse instruction Alarm Disappear Technology Alarm

System Alarm Trouble Alarm Alarm confirmation


(4) Filter: Filtering log station name and username are used in the system as shown in Figure 6.2.

Further more, operation records use station name filter way, and trouble alarms use username filter way.

(5) Find: Click the icon and find log files according to time or tag name (support wildcard ‘*’ and ‘?’), as
shown in Figure 6.3.

(6) Upload and merge log file: There are two file upload ways including timed automaticlly upload and
mamual upload. The former way will automatically upload file in a fixed time period everyday, the latter way
usually used in the following situations: log server has lost log file or user need to query log before the system
automatically upload log file.

File manual upload way will start after clicking the icon on toolbar just like Figure 6.4. Before clicking
‘Upload File’ button, you can select a certain station or all the stations and set fixed time period for uploading log
file.

If you have selected ‘Upload and merge today’s log’ item, log server will merge these files into a complete
event log after finishing upload.
Notice: At first, the log server sends a upload request, if no response return in 10 minutes, the upload task in
the day will be cancelled, if log server receive the next response, the log files haven’t upload 15 days before will
be uploaded.

(7) Manual merge log: Click the icon on toolbar, the merge log file dialog will pop-up as shown in
Figure 6.5.

If log server hasn’t record complete alarm log some day, user can merge the file (file path is:\\UPLOAD
\HMi1031\eNet\2009\07\lg20090710.log) that have record complete alarm log that day as a original file.
Notice: If the day or the program name of the two selected files are not same, a warning information prompts user
to reselect the correct file will pop-up.
