Install the Converter away from any heat. Proper ventilation around the unit is very important: allow at
least 20 cm/ 8 inch between the front and the rear part of the unit to ensure suf cient air ow to the
cooling fan. During normal operation the equipment may reach high temperatures, install the Converter
in an area where people will not get in contact with it. An appropriate periodic cleaning and
maintenance program is recommended to keep the equipment in perfect condition. If the equipment is
installed in a particularly dusty environment, increase the cleaning and maintenance program, making
sure that the ventilation system is working properly.

allow your converter to always be in AUTO-RESTART mode.

4. PANEL MENU

Pressing the SET push button you will see three types of menu. The rst shows the electrical measurements,
the second displays the alarms and the third one allows to increase or decrease the output voltage +/- 10
volts. We strongly suggest not to manipulate this setting in order to not compromise the converter
functionality.

To change menu, press SET. To scroll through the pages in the menu press the Up and Down push
buttons.

4.1. MEASUREMENTS MENU

The selected value will be stored automatically when you exit from the menu.

5. CONNECTIONS

The power system is composed of one cabinet. The converter is provided with the ANG AUTO-RANGING
Input Voltage System. It will automatically accept single phase voltage ranging from 190 to 260 volts. The
connection to the terminal block to the power supply, is located on the side of the cabinet. The converter
automatically con gure itself based to the input line voltage.

It can be powered with ONLY 1 SINGLE PHASE power cord.

Positioned on the side of the cabinets, where the DANGER sticker is attached, there is a removable panel,
that give you access at all the terminal block connections.

6. INTERFACE

The converter can be optionally provided of a RS232 interface port that used to remote diagnostics via
optional radio transmitter.

7. PROTECTIONS
The product is electronically protected against overload, short-circuit and over temperature as to avoid
irreversible faults to the product. Should the internal temperature be higher than 55°C (131°F) or should
the current be higher than 105% of the maximum rated current for more than 6 (six) seconds, the
converter will stop itself.
Subsequently, the inverter will automatically restart. If this procedure is repeated 3 times in a time less
than 2 minutes the converter permanently locks.
To restart it it will be necessary to use the key.

8. RESET AFTER OVER TEMPERATURE OR OVER LOAD PROTECTION LOCK

In order to reset the converter switch it off and on again. After an overtemperature protection, the
converter can be reset only when the internal temperature achieves 45°C (113°F).
An overload can only be solved by lowering it. In case of overload we recommend to check the boat’s
power demand.

9. OPERATING CONDITIONS AND ANOMALIES

9.1. Issues related to led and LCD.

Front panel leds and LCD display will alert the operator in case of faults.
Most issueswill switch “Fault” led on and the LCD display will show a description of the problem.

9.2. Problems that cannot be shown by LED and LCD display

Some problems cannot be signalized on the front panel:

1. Faulty front panel
2. Fault on recti er (the converter cannot be supplied)
3. Fault of sinusoidal generator on the board.
4. Fault of isolation transformer.

10. QUALITY ASSURANCE

The entire production cycle of our equipment is subject to surveillance regarding quality assurance. The
quality assurance system complies with ISO9001-2008 standard.
