Amazon FBA Mastery
Thank you for taking the time out to download this E-Book, and for having faith
in me to educate you on Amazon FBA. My names Jamil, I am 22 years old living
in London, and I sell products on Amazon for a living. I done 6 figures revenue
in my first year flipping branded products on Amazon that I buy from stores like
Argos, Boots, Costco and Superdrug!
You might have tried dropshipping before or looked into Amazon, and couldn’t
quite find the formula to succeed. This E-Book will give you everything you need
to know to get started and start making money in under 30 days. If you learn
how to source products, analyse and outsource the work, you can work 1 hour
a day and make £10k/month.

This is my first month on Amazon - £4000 revenue and £1000 profit in the FIRST
month… with no marketing!

What is Amazon FBA?
Amazon FBA literally means Fulfilment by Amazon. Amazon has over 30% of
the UK’s market share. They do around £7bn revenue every single year. There
are millions of customers that shop from Amazon. We are going to take
advantage of this by selling branded products people are already looking for,
and selling that on Amazon for a profit.
Did you know you are more likely to win the buy box and you can price higher
if you sell using Amazon FBA?
6
Creating an Amazon
Seller Account
It is very simple to create an Amazon Seller Account. I commonly get asked if
you need a LTD company to get started, but you do not. You can either start as
an Individual, or a sole proprietor (if you have a UTR), then switch to a limited
company. You don’t need a business bank account to start either.
To create an account, go onto this link and register for an account. You can
start either as an individual account or professional account, which is
£25/month. You can literally get your account setup within 30 minutes, it will
take a few days to verify and then you are ready to sell
The name of your account doesn’t matter either, and you can change the name
at any time.
You don’t need a website, logo, business phone number or anything else which
is usually needed for other types of businesses.

Amazon listings
8
When you click New (7)
9
You can see who else is on the listing, and their prices too
An ASIN is the product code associated with the listings. This is how you search
for products and enter them in
The best sellers rank is split into the main category (Beauty), and the sub-
category (Shampoo & Conditioner). The lower the best sellers rank, the better.
Anything under 2% is good.

Different ways of doing
Amazon FBA
There are various ways to do Amazon FBA. As we are focussing on buying
branded products, we are only going to be doing these methods – Online
Arbitrage, Retail Arbitrage, Online Wholesale and Retail Wholesale. These are
the best ways to get started, as you could literally start with £100, and you do
not need to any marketing.
We don’t create our own brands and sell them on Amazon as it is risky, you
need a lot of capital and if we was to create our own brands, we would sell on
Shopify and create an actual brand, not just sell something on Amazons
platform. This method is known as private label
Why are these methods better than private label? You may spend months trying
to find the right product, and then you have to find a supplier that will work with
you. You need to negotiate a low minimum order quantity, wait for weeks for the
product to land, create a listing, take photos, spend money on ads and THEN
hope you can get some sales. This is a lot of work and a lot of risk.
11
Online Arbitrage
This is the simplest, and best way to sell on Amazon. We are just buying items
online for low, and selling high. We have access to millions of Amazon’s
customers and they will buy our products for us. We don’t need to do any
marketing, packaging or shipping. Sounds easy right? That’s because it is.
We just find products that are already selling, and piggyback onto listings that
already exist. You don’t need to take any product photography, write any listings
or do any of the work, as it is already done for you. There will be other sellers
on the listing, and the buy box rotates fairly amongst all sellers.
Online arbitrage is when you buy items from retailers online, and then sell it on
Amazon. You can do this on any online store, and you do not need any sort of
wholesale account or company registration number.
12
Retail Arbitrage
This is when you go in store to find products at stores like Costco, B&M, Home
Bargains or Boots. The margins are higher than OA, and listings don’t crash.
Only the sellers buying the products in store will have access to that product,
where Online Arbitrage is accessible by sellers all over the UK. You can also
build relationships with employees which leads to additional opportunities in the
future.
To do RA, you just need to scan barcodes of products using SellerAmp, send
the products into Amazon and sell them. If you can scan everything in the store,
and spend a few hours in each store, you are guaranteed to make money.
If you wanna learn how to do Retail Arbitrage, then I would watch one of my
YouTube videos where I visit a store
13
Online Wholesale
Wholesale is basically the process of buying products from wholesalers,
meeting their minimum spend and getting products that other people can’t get.
Wholesale is a bit harder to do, as you might need to spend £2000 minimum on
your first order, and they do not like working with resellers. They might want to
see a company registration number (LTD), which you might not have when
starting out. That’s why I always recommend starting with online arbitrage, as it
is low barrier to entry and easier to get started.
- It is more about the wholesaler, and the relationship you have, rather than
the product you are getting
- Once you get the sheet of products from a wholesaler, hire a VA for
$3/hour for 8 hours, and get them to cross check all the products on
Amazon. After this, go through the ones that are profitable and do your
analysis
- Save up capital, and try to lower your minimum spend with wholesalers
If you wanna learn more about wholesale, apply for my 12 week mentoring
program. It is a 1 to 1 program and we teach everything about Amazon

14
Retail Wholesale
This is when you reach out to local wholesalers, go in person and build
relationships with wholesalers. If you do this correctly, you can bypass minimum
order spends and also get the wholesalers to order in different products for you
as they have relationships and connections with manufacturers / distributors
15
How to succeed doing Online Arbitrage
There is a loads of different sourcing methods you use to do Online Arbitrage.
The reason why it works so well is because customers don’t bother checking
online for a cheaper price. Due to the convenience of Amazon Prime, customers
will pay a higher price as its easier and faster. We just need to find items for
cheaper on retail websites and sell them for a higher price on Amazon. You
cannot dropship the items, as you need to buy them and send them in bulk to
Amazons Fulfilment Centres.
- Learn to tell the difference between a good deal and a bad deal
- Learn when to know to sell your products and get your capital out of

What tools do you need for
Amazon FBA?
Amazon Seller Central
This is how you get an Amazon Seller account. It will cost you around £25/month
to sell on Amazon. Alternatively, you can create an individual account which is
basically a free account but it is only good if you are selling less than 30 units a
month. Check out this YouTube video here to see how I create a new Amazon
seller account.
Seller Amp
This is the #1 Most essential software you need. It is around £15/month, and it
tells you everything you need to know about an item – how many times it sells
a month, how much stock everyone has, the best sellers rank, whether Amazon
are on the listing, what your max cost is, and you can even enter in your criteria
and fees. You can literally analyse a product in under 60 seconds using Seller
Amp.
17
Keepa
This software is also essential. Again, it is around £15/month. It will help when
it comes to seeing what a product was previously selling for in the past 90 days,
which you need when you are trying to see how stable the price is, and you can
also use Keepa to find products to sell on Amazon.
18
How to use Seller Amp
Seller Amp is the main software I use to analyse a product. It tells me how many
units every seller has in stock, the profit and loss, ROI, and tells you all the data
about a product within 60 seconds of analysis.
When you open an Amazon listing, Seller Amp will pop up on the side and you
can quickly do your analysis.
19
20
All your seller fees are broken down here too, so you can see what its costing
you to fulfil the order. The referral fee is basically Amazon’s marketing cost for
getting the order for you.
21
This is vital. How many sellers are on the listing, their price point and how many
units of stock. We use this to calculate their stock levels, when they will go out
of stock etc.
22
How to use Keepa
for analysis
People ask me if Keepa is needed as Seller Amp has a little chart built in, but
Keepa does more than just these charts. They give in depth analysis on a
products history, so you can see buy box statistics, other sellers price history,
you can use it to reverse source products, and more.
Keepa looks scary at first with 3 different charts. But I am going to show you
guys what they mean and explain them.
Top Box
Buy Box – the pink line shows the buybox price over time. This could be FBM
or FBA, so it is important to check who has been winning the buy box.
Amazon – if there is a shaded orange box, this means Amazon is on the listing
here. The gaps there is no orange means Amazon has ran out of stock. This is
important to look at to see how often they are in stock.
23
New 3rd Party FBA Triangles – this is the lowest FBA price, but the buy box
price is more important than this.
Middle box
Sales rank – this is the chart of the Best Sellers Rank. The lower the BSR, the
more fast selling the item is.
Lower Box
New offer count – this is the amount of sellers on the listing
This is a very stable Keepa chart, with consistent sellers on the listing
This is a Keepa chart to look out for. When you see a rising offer count, there is
an decrease in price. This is basic supply and demand.

Sourcing methods
One of the most common messages I get is “I have been sourcing for hours,
but I can’t find any products”
Here are the some of the best sourcing methods I use to find
products:
• Newsletter Sourcing
• Manual Sourcing
• Storefront Sourcing
There are loads more sourcing methods, but just to be fair to my premium
discord members, I won’t disclose all of them :)
You need the right mindset when you are sourcing. Sourcing is all about
VOLUME. The more product pages you source, the items you look for, the
higher chance you have of finding a profitable item. My VA’s work 8 Hours a
day, and only find 5-10 products with the best sourcing techniques. They are
going through at least 100-200 pages trying to find items every day. You will
become better at sourcing over time and more efficient as it is a skill. The more
you practice, the better you become.
Once you build a team, you won’t need to source. It is essential to know how to
source though, as you cannot just go and hire a VA, but not know how to source
yourself. If your VA gets stuck or has any questions, you need to be able to
answer them and make sure they are sourcing correctly.
Another thing I always like to remember is if there are loads of other profitable
sellers finding products everyday, then I can definitely find an item to resell on
Amazon. It is not as difficult as you think, it gets easier over time.
26
Newsletter sourcing
This is when you subscribe to a list of UK Retailers with a different email. Every
day when there are discount and sales, you will get emails straight into your
box. You will know what stores to focus your time and sourcing on
Manual sourcing
This is when you go through stores manually to find products. This could literally
be clicking SAS Search on items to find them straight on Amazon, or copy and
pasting the name of an item onto Amazon to see the price. Going through
clearance / sale sections to find products essentials
Storefront sourcing
If you find a seller with over 10 reviews, and under 500, and you can see they
sell a variety of items, this means they are an Online Arbitrage seller. You know
their items they are selling they have found online.
27
If you click this G button, the Amazon product will take you to Google. Now you
can just try find this item on Google and look to buy it for your max cost
If you wanna see more about using Seller Amp to source, check out my
YouTube video here.

Examples of winning products
1.
This product we are buying from Boots for £8.15 with a discount code, and we
are selling this for £17.50. You don’t need any wholesale account to buy from
Boots, literally anyone can buy it
29
2.
We are buying this product for £7.01, and £14.00. Another retailer online you
can buy from.
30
3.
This product is straight from Morrison. You can buy this for £8.50, and you’re
making £3.73 profit EACH unit. There are loads of monthly sales, but this is a
variation listing so you will have to check the variations on Keepa.
31
Newsletter Sourcing is great, because you will get an email where there are
deals, sales and discount codes on a particular store.
If you see the max cost is and you are finding the item for , then all you need is
a 10-30% off discount code to get this product profitable. The harder it is to get
an item for a profitable price, the better. This is because other Amazon sellers
are going to struggle to buy this item, so there will be less competition when you
go to sell the item.
• Email/SMS Signup – websites will often give discount codes just for
signing up to their newsletter. You can get a welcome discount, and even
use a Catchall Email to keep getting new welcome codes each time. Also,
they will send you emails regularly to notify you of any new discount
codes
• Live chat – just messaging the live chat or emailing customer support
can be a way to get a discount code
• Sales – whether you have been notified of a sale via email, or just being
active when you are sourcing, this is a great way to catch them. If you
can combine a sale, with a coupon code, that is one of the BEST ways to
reduce the price
• Clearance section – these are similar to sales, but this is just a section
full of products that the store is trying to sell FAST. It requires manual
sourcing to go through each and every product
32
• Discounted gift cards – you can purchase a giftcard online or from
different stores. For example, a £50 gift card for £40, and that is saving
you 20% effectively. You can use this as credit when you are purchasing
+ a discount code
33
Ungating
Ungated – this just means you are restricted to sell a certain brand or category
on Amazon. They do this so brands can protect their reputation, and not just
anyone can sell items.
Ungating might sound complicated, but it's simply about gaining permission to
sell well-known brands on Amazon. In the past, this was tough, but now it's quite
straightforward. You just need an invoice of 10 units from an authorised
retailers. Once approved for a brand, you can sell its products. Don't worry if
you're new; not everything is restricted. Even though Amazon's computer might
reject you a few times, keep trying.
Harrison Direct is a good store I used to get ungated for a lot of brands. They
have a section on what products to buy specifically to get ungated for certain
categories on Amazon
Once you build up selling history on your account, you will automatically get
ungated for a lot of items.
34
What niches to sell in?
I don’t particularly focus on any niche, because as long as the product sells on
Amazon, then its fine. However, my favourite categories to sell are Beauty,
Toys, Home & Kitchen and Pet Supplies.
Beauty – arguably the best category to sell. The items are quite small, so they
can fit loads of units into one box. The return rates are super low too, as the
item cannot be returned once someone has used it. You should look to do
newsletter sourcing with beauty stores like Stylevana, Cocoon Center etc as
you will get notified when they have a storewide sale and discount codes.
Pet supplies – retail arbitrage is great for this, especially from discounted
stores like Home Bargains or Costco. There is a lot of wholesale competition
though so beware when you are selling
Clothing & Shoes – I do not have a ton of experience selling in this category,
as there are high return rates. You need to make sure you are at least aiming
for 35% ROI when doing so. There are a lot of potential items to sell, but you
gotta place yourself in a consumers mindset and think what items are they going
to be buying from Amazon?
Grocery – there are low return rates as these are consumable items. It is good
to sell in if you can find the right products. Asda and Tesco is great for grocery
items. However, you have to be wary of wholesale competiton as a lot of sellers
are buying in bulk from distributors and wholesalers in the UK.
Toys – this is a great category to sell, especially in Q4. Studying Keepa charts
and pairing that with Toys is great, because even if a product doesn’t currently
look profitable, you can wait till Amazon go out of stock or wait for a price to
increase (based on past data) and then sell your items for a higher price. LEGO
is a great toy to sell, as its fast selling and a lot of LEGO sets retire after 12-18
months. If you grab the right LEGO, it can increase in price.
35
Baby Products – these are great to sell as mothers are always buying from
Amazon. Evergreen niche. Just make sure to get ungated for this category and
you will be able to source and sell a lot more products
36
How to build a team
Building a team is essential, as you can fully automate and outsource your
business. I do not package any of my items, or source anything anymore. The
reason why is I have a VA that sources all of my products for me, and I have a
prep centre which package and ship my items to Amazon’s Fulfilment Centres.
Getting a VA is good, because you will not have to source your products. They
are relatively cheap too, as they’re around $3/hour and they will work 40 hours
a week to find products. I recommend having at least £5000 capital before you
get a VA though.
Buying products at a 25% profit margin - £4000 (to make £1000 profit)
From the £4000, you will make £1000 profit, and this will make sure you
breakeven for the £600 + £350 you have spent. Granted, the £600 is only a one
time fee at the start so you could start with less. But I would ensure you have
capital and experience before hiring to make sure its worthwhile
Prep Centre – you can get a prep centre straight away, but I would learn how
to package items and just understand the process of how shipments are
checked in. It is good to learn too because when you do Retail Arbitrage, you
are going to send the products into Amazon’s Fulfilment Centre. Prep Centres
are quite cheap too, here is a list of the pricing for a Prep Centre I use:
I would enter in £1 total prep fee in seller amp, as this accounts for the picking,
packaging and shipping to Amazon.
37
Once you get a prep centre, and a VA, all you need to do is work 1 hour a day
to basically just oversee your operations and buy your items. When you
purchase products, just enter the prep centre address and they will handle the
rest.

How to price items
This part is simple, as we are selling on listings that are already generating sales
and have all the price history. There.
If there is an FBA seller on buy box, then price at the same price as them. This
will ensure you are getting a profit and winning the buy box (as this is shared).
If you start to undercut other sellers, lots of them will have repricers which will
just follow your price and it will turn into a race to the bottom!
If there are no FBA sellers, and only FBM, you can price 10-20% higher than
them and still win the buy box as Amazon favour FBA sellers due to the Prime
benefits.
You can use a repricer too, which will basically match other sellers price so if
they drop their prices, your products will automatically change price WITHOUT
you having to do anything. You can sign up to one here with a free trial.

FAQ
How much money do I need to start? I’d say minimum £500, as you need to
spend £50 on the software and Amazon Seller Account, and then the rest of the
money will be used for products. The more capital you have, the better though.
Can I do this whilst working a job or at uni? 100%. Amazon is the best
business to do as they handle most of the work for you, and you can use a VA
and prep centre to do the sourcing and shipping.
How do I get ungated for big brands? I can’t share too much, as it would be
unfair to the premium discord members, but all you need to do is show an
invoice of 10 units from any retailer.
Do we buy products from China? No, we buy branded products which people
are already familiar with and buy these from retailers in the UK.
How long does it take to make a profit? You can be profitable in your first 30
days if you get the right products and it sells
Will I lose money? In general, you’re unlikely to lose money. You can see past
data on keepa to see the average price its selling for, and as long as you don’t
buy from saturated sites like Boots, your listings won’t crash in price.
How long does it take to create an Amazon Account? You will get verified
in 3-5 days.

The Best Way to Start
Amazon FBA in 2023
Here are some success stories that my students have had
Meet Ross Porritt – he joined my program last year, and he’s done £300k
revenue in his first year! He’s 22 years old, and Amazon is his FULL TIME job
now.
43
Here is another student who joined my program. He got a VA, outsourced his
business and done nearly £10,000 in the first month!
