Those day with * are recommended to be celebrated at the centre with Patriotic /Cultural/ Traditional Spirit
Those holidays highlighted in green are mandatory holidays.

Region specific holidays are mentioned in brackets.

KINDLY NOTE THE FOLLOWING:


1. SUMMER / ANNUAL VACATION / WINTER VACATIONS / MID TERM VACATION:
- Number of days based on respective locations and region should follow the below:
i. Annual Vacation / other vacations not to exceed 40 days for students, depending on location
(inclusive of Saturdays and Sundays)
ii. Mid-term / Diwali Vacation depending on Region, not to exceed 10 days for students (inclusive of
Saturdays and Sundays).
iii. Winter / Vacation depending on location, not to exceed 10 days for students (inclusive of Saturdays and
Sundays).
iv. Festival / Ganesh / Durga / Christmas vacations depending on location, not to exceed 10 days for
students (inclusive of Saturdays and Sundays).

TOTAL NUMBER OF DAYS FOR VACATIONS SHOULD NOT EXCEED 80 DAYS for students
inclusive of scheduled public holidays.

2. Public holidays as mentioned above. In addition, unavoidable discretionary holidays should not exceed
13 days in total (excluding Saturdays and Sundays)
3. The Average instructional working days per centre should not be less than 200 days for 2023-24.
(OBLIGATION)
4. Every Centre to prepare the yearly planner indicating holidays and send it to the respective TFDM FOR
APPROVAL according to the respective locations in due course before the New session begins.
5. Days of PTM and other Parent meets to be considered as non-instructional working days. (attendance to
be recorded)
