About DOC

The Department of Correction (DOC) is responsible for managing state and local prisons,
as well as overseeing the rehabilitation and re-entry of incarcerated individuals back into
society. It provides various rehabilitation programs to help the inmates prepare for
successful re- entry into society. The DOC also works to ensure a smooth transition for
inmates back into their communities, providing resources and support for successful
reintegration.

Primary Task Of DOC:

o Prison Operations: The DOC manages the daily operations of state and local prisons,
ensuring the safety and security of both inmates and staff.

o Rehabilitation Programs: DOC provides various rehabilitation programs, such as
education, job training, and counselling, to help inmates prepare for successful re-
entry into society.

o Visitation and Mail: allowing for continued family connections and support DOC
facilitates visitation and mail exchange between inmates and their loved ones.

o Community Re-entry: The DOC works to ensure a smooth transition for inmates back
into their communities, providing resources and support for successful reintegration.

Basic Rules Of DOC:


Rules Description
1. Doc officer can go to capitol whenever its needed but should make sure that
DOC is covered and USSS agents can be present in DOC whenever needed (Both
must have a reason of their presence).
2. Can stay in DOC while been OFF DUTY but don’t STAY in prison area (can go
towards changing room from prison area as well just don’t stay or stop in the
prison area).
3. Don’t carry illegal firearms ON/OFF Duty if caught then strict actions would be
taken.
4. Only go ghetto when there is a valid global or situation is going on (with the
permission of high commands and with one additional Units)
5. Government employees don’t go to Store/Gun store robberies.
6. If you get a 10-15 Do call high commands and hand over the 10-15 to
LSPD/SAHP/FIB employees.
7. Make sure to read the 10-15 his rights (Miranda rights)
8. Have a VALID bodycam of every situation you attend or you are present.
9. Follow proper uniform dress-code and proper weapon-loadout which is
available on Government mails.
10. Maintain the Professionalism between the department and follow the Chain of
command as well as respect everyone and obey orders of high commands.
11. As a DOC officer you have right to search anyone who enters DOC even other
LEO (Not the first persons but you can ask ID & reason of their presence).
12. Must cover control room after 10:00 time and do not leave the control room in
any cases
13. Maintain professionalism within each other and behave professional
14. No officer except Government employee can come upstairs only in serious
situation they can come when they have authorities else when they are the first
person. If still there is a LEO upstairs then give them demands and failure to

comply will lead you to cuff them and contact their high commands for the
situation that happened.
15. Don’t attend global situation if there is no one at DOC or when DOC is empty
specially after time 10:00 always make sure to stay in the control room no matter
whatever the situation is don’t respond leaving the control room empty.
16. Catching prisoner with illegal firearm/item will have you permission to contact
other Leo and make sure to confiscate it or else take prisoners towards the
isolation punishment.
17. While going OFF duty if you are alone making sure to call USSS units and ask
them to cover control room/gates of DOC.
18. Always keep first priority to control room
19. Never sleep while on duty inside the control room/prison area/gates but can go
sleeping inside the changing and armory room area.
20. Respect citizens and serve them professionally and handle the prisoners with
respectful way if anything goes wrong never forget that you have power to put
them in the isolation for failure to behave.

WORK IN DOC:

❑ INSPECTION: helps for analyzing the current situation inside the whole DOC by
checking all doors, prisoners, rooms, backyard, isolation cells and main gates. After
every 30 minutes 1 inspection can, be concluded for DOC to keep checking the
status inside the DOC.

❑ DOC SECURITY: Checking Ids of the officers and other Leo present in DOC will
lead to secure the corrupted officers and handling the jail break securities if it's
done it would help to check the officers present inside DOC.

❑ DOC SHIFTS: Shifts can be considered and concluded in the part of control room
shift which would lead to knowing and analyzing the shifts of units who covers the
control room regularly.

❑ NAME CHANGING: It's an official duty of a DOC officer to serve the citizen with
the professionalism and help citizens to change the name Timings for name
changing is from 8:00 to 18:30 (Maximum 2 people at a time).

❑ GYM SHIFTS: It's an important activity for a prisoner and as well as for the units
as well but prisoners should be mostly prioritizing in this scenario mostly it would
lead prisoners to spend their time inside jail by doing gym and improving their
physical health. Timings for Gym for Prisoners is from 9:00 to 18:00 (Maximum 3
People at a time).

❑ BACKYARD SHIFT: Backyard is one of the main area inside the DOC which may
lead trespassers to enter and hand over the pen drives to the prisoners which are
inside the doc serving their time to the jail and also may create a danger for the units
inside the DOC. Timings for the backyard are from e 11:30 to 17:00 (Maximum 2
People at a time) In Backyard if there is 4 units at DOC then 1 can go if there is 7
units at DOC then 2 Can go to Backyards.

❑ DOC PATROLLING: patrolling must be done near desired DOC area for checking
around the DOC only senior officer and security officer with 2 units can do the
patrolling.

Internal Rules:
(It is imperative for all members of the organization to adhere to the following rules.
Failure to do so may result in disciplinary action, including but not limited to)

1. Strike: A formal warning issued for violating organizational policies or protocols.

2. Demotion: Reduction in rank or responsibilities as a consequence of misconduct or


failure to meet performance standards.

3. Dismissal: Termination of employment due to serious breaches of conduct or repeated
infractions.

4. Detention: Temporary confinement or suspension from duty pending investigation or


resolution of a

disciplinary matter.

5. Deportation: Removal from the organization, for severe violations of rules or criminal
behavior.

Status Codes:
• Code A: Game Crash
• Code B: Paused RP, Admin Situation
• Code 0: When we need backup from all ORG (GLOBAL)
• Code 1: Life-Threatening Emergency. Drop what you are doing and respond ASAP
(Lights & Siren)
• Code 2: Semi-Emergency (Lights Only)
• Code 3: Emergency (Lights & Siren)
• Code 4: Situation Under Control
• Code 5: Terrorist Attack
• Code 6: Out of Vehicle
• Code 7: Conducting an Investigation
• Code M: Mixing

Radio Codes:
• 10-1: Roll call/announcement (supervisors and above), all units return to
headquarters
• 10-2: Negative
• 10-3: Stop transmitting
• 10-4: Acknowledged/affirmative
• 10-5: Repeat last transmission
• 10-6: Disregard the last transmission
• 10-7: Break at headquarters (AFK)
• 10-8: In-service/available

• 10-9: Out of service/unavailable
• TANGO 10-10: Training Shots fired
• 10-10: Shots fired
• 10-11: Robbery in progress
• 10-13: Agent/government employee down (Top Priority)
• 10-12: Estimated Time of Arrival
• 10-15: Suspect in custody
• 10-16: Injured civilian
• 10-17: Enroute
• 10-19: Return to the Headquarters
• 10-20: Location
• 10-21: Status check (Specify your current status and location)
• 10-22: Hostage situation
• 10-23: Arrived on scene
• 10-32: Backup needed (Specify the number of units and location)
• 10-41: Start of watch
• 10-42: End of watch
• 10-51: Vehicle traffic stop
• 10-52: Felony traffic stop
• 10-70: Suspect has warrants
• 10-80: Vehicle pursuit
• 10-80 FOXTROT: Foot pursuit
• 10-90: Crime in Progress
• 10-99: Situation concluded

Miranda Rights

You have the right to remain silent, anything you say can and will be used

against you in the court of law.

You have the right to an attorney, if you cannot afford an attorney,

One will be appointed to you by the state if available.

Do you understand the rights I just read to you?

Remember, if the suspect does not respond with "Yes, I understand the rights,"

you must read the Miranda Rights a total of three times. If the suspect still does

not respond, you should state, "I will consider your silence as a YES."

Miranda Warnings

(Miranda Warnings should only be used when the state is under martial law.)

You have the right to remain silent. The State is under Martial Law,

There is no bail, lawyer, or other legal services available at this time.

Do you understand these rights?

Remember, Miranda Warnings are only read once, unlike the Miranda Rights

which may need to be reiterated multiple times if necessary.

Stages Of Forces:

(According to Article 3, 3.3.2 of the CODE OF CIVIL AND PROCEDURAL LAW, there are
five stages of)

a) The Presence of a Law Enforcement Officer: Applied when there is no need to


escalate to a higher

stage of force.

b) Verbal Commands or Caution: Applied when necessary to suppress a violation


of the law.

c) Simple Forceful Action: Used for the arrest of a citizen, such as wringing hands,
applying pressure to pain points, and the typical use of handcuffs.

d) Severe Forceful Impact: Employed when there is a threat of causing minor bodily
harm to citizens or damage to property, involving actions such as punches, kicks,
batons, or the use of electric shock devices.

e) Lethal Force: Utilized when there is a threat to the life of citizens or if the suspect
is attempting to flee the crime scene, to prevent a direct threat to life. A clear verbal
warning must be given before lethal force is used on a fleeing subject.
