Title: Decluttering - The Secret to a Happier Life!

(Scene: Me, surrounded by random clutter—clothes on chairs, books on the floor, and
random kitchen utensils lying around. A single sock.)

Me:
(Looking at the audience)
"Anyone here have that one sock you’re still holding onto, hoping its partner will magically
return? Raise your hand if you’ve got a ‘sock orphanage’ at home!"
(pause)
"See? We all have clutter. But did you know decluttering isn’t just about clean spaces? It’s
like therapy... except cheaper."

(dramatically, holding the sock like it’s a mic.)

"Let’s talk mental health! Decluttering can reduce stress and anxiety, and it can improve your
sleep. Because let’s be real, nothing screams insomnia like lying awake thinking, ‘Where did I
put that warranty from 2007?’"
(Pause)

(Grabs a duster dramatically.)

"And physical health! Dust, mold, mildew—oh my! Did you know clutter can trigger
allergies? So if you’re sneezing more than talking at dinner, maybe it’s not the cat—it’s your
collection of ‘vintage dust’!"

(Points to the audience.)

"But let’s get real. Decluttering is also about productivity. Ever try working on a cluttered
desk? Yeah, you’ll spend 30 minutes just trying to find a pen that works. Studies show
organized spaces help you focus. So think of it this way: clean desk, clear mind, fewer
existential crises."

(Picks up an old photo frame from the clutter.)

"Now, relationships! How many of you have avoided inviting friends over because you didn’t
want them to see the ‘clothing mountain’ on your couch?"
(Wait for reactions)
"Or had a partner or roommate side-eye you for keeping a drawer full of dead batteries and
tangled cords? Trust me, decluttering can save friendships and eveeeennn marriages."

(Holding up a broom like a sword.)

"And here’s the best part: tidying up becomes so much easier when everything has a home.
No more shoving stuff into closets and praying it doesn’t avalanche the next time you open
the door!"

(Pause dramatically, holding up a box labeled ‘Donate.’)

"Lastly, let’s talk donating. That bhari heavy rida you bought for your sister in laws
daughter’s marriage function but now you don’t wear it anywhere because its too heavy for
other functions or other’s function? It’s time to let it go. Give it to charity! It’ll make
someone else’s day and lower your stress. Plus, donating stuff gives you that little serotonin
boost without hitting 'Add to Cart.'"

(Move closer to the audience, speaking earnestly.)

"So here’s my challenge: pick one room, one drawer, or even one sock to start. And set a
goal. Maybe it’s clearing a shelf or reducing your mug collection."
(Laughs)
"You’ll thank me when you’re sleeping better, breathing easier, and maybe even saving a
relationship. Or at least, you’ll finally be able to find your keys!"

(Hold up the lone sock dramatically again.)

"Now, who’s ready to let go of their sock’s long-lost partner? Don’t worry—it’s not
abandonment. It’s freedom!"

( throw the sock into a donation box.)

"Decluttering—it’s not just cleaning; it’s self-care. Let’s do this!"
