time slots each day to review course materials, rewatch some of the videos and consolidate
key concepts. Breaking down the material into manageable chunks and adhering to a
structured study schedule will help me stay organized and focused.
Secondly, review Notes that I took and revise the Textbooks. With that, I will thoroughly
review almost everything and any supplementary materials to ensure a comprehensive
understanding of the topics covered in the course. Taking concise, Cornell-style notes and
summarizing key points will aid in retention and recall during the exam.
Moreover, I will employ active learning techniques such as concept mapping, self-quizzing,
and teaching the material to some of my students at the school that I teach to deepen my
understanding and reinforce key concepts. Engaging in discussion feedbacks although on a
weekly basis has helped me tremendously as it has provided valuable insights and
perspectives.
Lastly, I will prioritize self-care by maintaining a healthy lifestyle, getting adequate sleep,
eating nutritious meals, and incorporating regular exercise and relaxation techniques into my
routine. Physical and mental well-being are essential for optimal cognitive functioning and
academic performance.
Yes, I have experienced test-taking anxiety in the past. To manage test anxiety, I will employ
the following strategies:
To begin with, what I see to be more effective and has been usable is giving myself Positive
Self-Talk. To do that, I will replace negative thoughts and self-doubt with positive
affirmations and reminders of my preparation and capabilities. Affirming statements such as
"I am prepared and capable" and "I can handle this" can boost confidence and reduce anxiety.

4. **Stay Present and Focus on the Task:** I will focus on the present moment and the task at
hand, rather than worrying about potential outcomes or past mistakes. Staying focused on the
exam questions and applying the strategies and techniques I've practiced will help me stay
grounded and perform to the best of my abilities.
For your last journal entry, reflect on the different things you have learned over
the term. Then, in a 300-500 word journal entry (at least 300 words but no more
than 500 words), answer the following:
1. What was the most useful strategy you learned during this course? How
will you apply this strategy in your future studies here at UoPeople?
2. What was the most surprising thing you learned this term? Why did it
surprise you?
3. Peer assessment is a unique education model. Think back to how you felt
about peer assessment at the beginning of the term, and compare that to
your feelings now. How have your feelings changed? Are you more
comfortable with peer assessment? Have you learned something new
while assessing your peer’s work?
