Position Profile

Job Title: Analyst – Technology


Location: Pune, India

Job Description
Role Summary:
As an Analyst, the candidate would work on complex Analytical problems and help the customer in
better business decision making especially in the pharma/life sciences domain.

Essential Functions:
1. Implement Business intelligence (BI) projects:
 Work with senior analyst to design BI systems to cater to the requirements of the client
stakeholders
 Develop a BI system based on the design and technology stack aligned with the client
stakeholders
 Test and deploy the developed system using the change management protocols established
on the client side
 Work with senior analyst to ensure the tasks are completed per the project plan

2. Feasibility and ad hoc analysis:


 Work on ad hoc and feasibility analysis of data and technology for the BI system as requested
by the client stakeholders under the guidance of the senior analyst
 Actively execute unstructured problem solving to design and build complex solutions, tune to
meet expected performance and functional requirements under the guidance of a senior
analyst

3. Contribute to the Centre of Excellence (CoE):


 Work with other colleagues across teams to develop and conduct capability/feature PoCs
across tools for developing expertise within the organization
 Proactively research on emerging technology and industry trends to develop point of views
(PoV)

The roles and responsibilities will continuously evolve basis the project allocation and client requirements.

Additional Functions:
 Invest time in continuous self-learning to keep the technology and domain skills relevant and at
par with the latest technology/methodologies within the BI industry
 Present/publish learnings/case studies from the projects/R&D within the organization for
outreach
Candidate’s Profile

Essential Qualifications:
B-Tech. or B.E. in any engineering discipline or PG in Statistics/ Mathematics/ Operation Research or B.Sc.
in Computer Science or similar course.

Experience:
 Fresh out of college
OR
1-3 years of relevant consulting/IT-industry experience working on medium-large scale
technology solution delivery engagements
and / OR
6 to 12 months of experience with big data, cloud technologies, data engineering and analytics
and / OR
6 to 12 months of experience in data warehousing/reporting tools like SQL, Power BI,
Tableau, MS-Excel, MicroStrategy, Informatica, Python, etc.
and / OR
6 to 12 months of experience in process excellence, governance, project management

Skills, Knowledge, Abilities & Key Traits:


 Good verbal and written communication, with appropriate and logical structuring of thought
process during discussion/ presentation
 Adaptable to changes, capable of handling multiple tasks, and work well under pressure.
 Must be proactive, with the required flexibility and ability to think laterally
