Newspaper Articles - Workshop outcome:

As you have been working (in small groups) on authentic newspaper


articles, you are supposed to design them for the classroom use as lessons.
When you finish drafting all the design of your teaching material, Present
it in the following Steps

WRITE your Group (1 or 2) and Names of 3/4 participants

1- Indicate the theme and topic


2- Insert the material itself (text of the article with a title)
3- List the prominent language functions of communication
4- Make a list of important notions that serve the functions realisation
5- Indicate the learners’ level of proficiency and determine the
communicative objectives to be achieved by the learners
6- Determine a significant number of activities following a teaching
/learning procedure (knowledge, warming up, comprehension,
practice, analysis and synthesis levels).
7- Write the instructions for each activity and supply sufficient number of
items in each activity (4/ 5 items)
The activities include warm-up, presentation for comprehension/
listening and reading activities, practice activities for language mastery,
and skill building/integration in speaking and writing activities.
The material must be submitted after the Holidays
