Objectives
1. Understand the fundamentals of configuring routers for network connectivity.
2. Learn how to establish connections between two or more routers using serial ports.
3. Gain knowledge on configuring and implementing the Routing Information Protocol
(RIP) for effective network routing.
School of Computer Science Engineering and
Task
1. Using Cisco Packet Tracer, set up a network with three routers (R1, R2, and R3).
Configure the serial ports of each router with Class C IP addresses. Implement RIP
protocol to enable routing between the networks.
2. Using Cisco Packet Tracer, set up a network with three routers (R1, R2, R3 and R4).
Configure the serial ports of each router with Class A IP addresses. Implement RIP
protocol to enable routing between the networks.
3. Using Cisco Packet Tracer, set up a network with three routers (R1, R2, and R3).
Configure the serial ports of each router with Class C IP addresses. Implement RIPv2
protocol to enable routing between the networks.
