Setting up Windows Server

1. Obtain a copy of the Windows Server installation media: This can be done either by
downloading an ISO image from the Microsoft website or by purchasing a physical copy of
the installation media.

2. Create a bootable USB or DVD: If you downloaded the ISO image, you will need to create a
bootable USB or DVD to use as the installation media. You can use tools such as Rufus or
Windows USB/DVD Download Tool to create a bootable USB or DVD.

3. Boot from the installation media: Insert the USB or DVD into the computer or server where
you want to install Windows Server and boot from the installation media.

4. Follow the prompts to install Windows Server: Once the system boots from the installation
media, follow the prompts to install Windows Server. You will be prompted to select the
language, time and currency format, and keyboard or input method.

5. Select the installation type: You will be prompted to select the installation type. You can
choose to install Windows Server as an upgrade, custom installation, or clean installation.

6. Select the installation location: You will be prompted to select the installation location for
Windows Server. You can either select an existing partition or create a new one.

7. Configure the installation: You will be prompted to configure the installation options,
including network settings, administrator password, and other settings.

8. Wait for the installation to complete: Once you have configured the installation options, the
installation will begin. The installation process can take some time, depending on the
hardware specifications of the system.

9. Complete the installation: Once the installation is complete, you will be prompted to enter
the Windows Server product key and activate the installation.
