Microsoft windows was announced by Bill Gates on November 10, 1983, 2 years before it was first released. Microsoft introduced
Windows as a graphical user interface for MS-DOS, which had been introduced two years earlier, on August 12, 1981. The product
line evolved in the 1990s from an operating environment into a fully complete, modern operating system over two lines of
development, each with their own separate codebase. The first version of Windows, Windows 1.0, was released in 1985 as a
graphical shell for MS-DOS, Microsoft's existing disk operating system.

Introduction
Microsoft Windows is a graphical operating system (OS) developed by Microsoft Corporation, designed to run on personal computers
(PCs) and known for its user-friendly interface and widespread adoption. The operating system that manages your computer's
hardware and software, allowing you to interact with your computer and run applications. Meaning it uses a visual interface with
icons, windows, and menus, making it easier for users to interact with the computer compared to older command-line interfaces.

software through the use of a graphical interface. Its dependability is further strengthened by the Reliability Monitor, regular
security assessment updates, and ongoing performance enhancements.
APPLE MACOS
HISTORY
macOS, Apple's current Mac operating system formerly named Mac OS X until 2011 and then OS X until 2016, began with the
company's project to replace its "classic" Mac OS. That system, up to and including its final release Mac OS 9, was a direct
descendant of the operating system Apple had used in its Mac computers since their introduction in 1984. However, the current
macOS is a UNIX operating system built on technology that had been developed at NeXT from the 1980s until Apple purchased the
company in early 1997.

INTRODUCTION
The Macintosh Operating System (Mac OS) is an operating system (OS) designed by Apple Inc. to be installed and operated on the
Apple Macintosh series of computers. Introduced in 1984, it is a graphical user interface (GUI) based OS that has since been
released as multiple different versions. That powers every Mac it lets you do things you simply can't with other computers. That's
because it's designed specifically for the hardware it runs on and vice versa, macOS comes with an entire suite of beautifully

designed apps.
