Problem Statement
Problem Statement
Stage 1: Students are required to form teams of four. A list of available fields/areas where AI is
applied will be provided (e.g., healthcare, finance, education, art, music, literature etc.). The group
should pick up 1 among them. The fields / areas will be allotted strictly on first-come, first-served
basis. Each team must choose a unique field; no two teams can select the same area.
Stage 2: Topic Submission = The chosen field and team members' names will be recorded in a
Google Sheet, which is shared with all participants to ensure transparency and prevent duplicate
selections. Last Date for topic submission is 02/04/2024.
Stage 3 : A detail of the analysis work done along with PPT has to be submitted the following
discusses the PPT contents.
PPT Content:
The PPT will have the following slides
• Title
• Introduction to AI in the Chosen Field:
o (What is the field? / Where is it used? / End goal of the field etc;) [Please keep
it crisp, easy to understand and directly to the point]
• Historical Context and Evolution:
o (A brief history of AI applications in this field. Key milestones and
transformative technologies introduced)
• Detailed exploration of how AI is currently used in the field
o [Include specific technologies (e.g., machine learning, neural networks, natural
language processing) and their uses.]
o Case studies or examples of successful AI implementation.
o Data and statistics showcasing the impact of AI.
• Challenges and Ethical Considerations
o Discuss any challenges faced in implementing AI within the field (technical,
financial, data privacy, etc.).
o Ethical considerations and societal implications of AI applications.
o Solutions and best practices to address these challenges.
• Conclusion
o Recap of the key points covered in the presentation.
o Personal insights or reflections on the future of AI in this area.
o Final thoughts on the role of AI in advancing the field.
Fields / Domains:
• In PPT presentation the group members are advised to equally distribute the presentation
slides among themselves. The efforts put up by each candidate should be clearly highlighted.
• There is no restriction on the total number of slides, but students are expected to finish the
presentation within 10-12 minutes.
• Students are advised not to put a lot of textual contents, instead usage of diagrams, simple
GIF’s, videos (concerned to the topic) are encouraged.
• IMPORTANT: the entire team should be familiar with all slides, please do not restrict
yourself to a fixed number of slides, you will be asked questions apart from the slide which
you presented as well.
• Please stick to the timelines mentioned, delay in submissions will lead to penalty of marks.
