President's Address
President's Address
Distinguished students, I extend to you a warm welcome to the Joshua’s Tribe Ministry
institute.
This prestigious institution serves as the premier training ground for believers and
Ministers of the Gospel, who love God and possess a strong passion for His
Kingdom.
I acknowledge that each one of you has prayerfully decided to partake in this
transformative experience.
The Ministry Institute upholds three critical tenets: Discern, Develop, and Disciple.
These principles serve as the bedrock of all our training programs. As the adage goes,
one's training determines their level of achievement, and this holds true for both life and
ministry. Yet, it is vital to note that fulfilling your ministry goes beyond training. It
requires a personal commitment to the task at hand.
Allow me to draw your attention to Colossians 4:17, which states, "And say to
Archippus, Take heed to the ministry which thou hast received in the Lord, that thou
fulfill it." This verse highlights that the ministry committed to you is not an afterthought
but rather a divine assignment bestowed upon you the moment you accepted the
Lordship of Jesus. It is your responsibility to identify and meet the needs and gaps that
God has designated you to fill.
At the Ministry Institute, our primary focus is not academic. This is not a Bible school.
We believe that longevity in ministry is tied to the adequacy of mentorship and training
received. Therefore, our focus is more on developing the disciplines and values required
for a successful ministry rather than academic rigor. By adhering strictly to the program
and schedule, you will experience a transformational shift that prepares you for life and
ministry.
In God's kingdom and ministry, culture and values hold tremendous significance.
Unlearning, relearning, and learning are fundamental in developing an understanding of
the most important aspects of ministry. While skill and anointing are crucial, the most
important elements are
personal culture and values. At the Ministry Institute, we place great emphasis on
cultivating these aspects.
In conclusion, it is my firm conviction that these two weeks at the Joshua’s Tribe
Ministry Institute will serve as the necessary foundation to fulfill the ministry committed
to you. I implore you to embrace this opportunity with an open mind, a teachable spirit,
and a willingness to learn.
