Good morning respected teachers. Today, we are excited to present our final year
project, StuAlly, that is Pune Student Hub. This project is designed to help students
new to Pune easily find paying guest accommodations, mess facilities, and quality
classes in specific areas of the city.

Our team members are:


Vaishnavi, she is handling Frontend development
Om, handling backend development
Sagar, handling database management
And Janhavi, The Project lead

Together, we are working to create a platform that will serve students for finding
essential services in Pune. Let's get started with the detailed explanation of our
project!

StuAlly is a web application designed to help students find PG accommodations, mess


facilities, and classes in Pune. The platform focuses on four specific areas: Akurdi,
Hinjewadi, Karve Nagar, J M Road, providing students with easy access to essential
services as they settle into the city.

StuAlly modern web development technologies that are trending in today’s market:

 Frontend: React.js
 Backend: Node.js, Express.js
 Database: MongoDB These technologies are chosen for their speed, scalability,
and widespread use in the industry.

We used React.js for StuAlly’s frontend because it allows us to build fast, interactive
user interfaces. React’s component-based architecture makes the code modular and
reusable, which is great for scaling our application in the future. Node.js is ideal
for our backend because it’s efficient at handling multiple requests simultaneously.
MongoDB is a NoSQL database that fits perfectly with StuAlly’s needs. Its
document-based structure allows us to store flexible data for PG accommodations,
messes, and classes.

StuAlly offers a user-friendly homepage with four main tabs: PG Accommodations,


Mess Facilities, Classes, and About Us. Users can select their desired location from a
dropdown or grid, and the website will display relevant details for that area. Each tab
provides listings for PGs, mess services, and classes, showing essential information
such as photos, amenities, fees, and contact details, making it easy for students to
find accommodations, food, and education services in their chosen area.

StuAlly’s key features include:

Simple UI for Easy navigation with tabs, Location-based Listings for relevant
listings and Reviews and Ratings so that Students can leave feedback on services

StuAlly has secured sponsorship from a PG and a class provider in Pune. An NGO that
supports student welfare has also expressed interest in backing the project because
it aligns with their mission to help students settle in the city.

In the future, StuAlly can expand to cover other cities where students face similar
issues. We also plan to introduce more features like transportation services and
tutoring options, as well as develop a mobile app for easier access.

StuAlly aims to make life easier for students by providing a centralized platform to
find accommodations, meals, and classes in Pune. With sponsorship support and the
use of cutting-edge technologies like React.js, Node.js, and MongoDB, we believe
StuAlly will have a significant positive impact on students.
