• Supervisory Organizations - Supervisory Organizations group employees into a
management hierarchy and are a required foundation for Workday HCM (Human Capital
Management).

• Staffing Models - defines how jobs and positions are created and filled in a supervisory
organization

• Job Profiles – defines generic features and characteristics of a job and of a position that is
built off that profile.

• Compensation - the umbrella term for compensation packages, grades, grade profiles and
plans.

• Security – security group, security policies, securable items

• Business Processes- a sequence of one or more tasks that accomplishes a desired


business objective.
