Executive Summary

I am excited to introduce InternConnect, a vibrant digital platform designed to connect university


students with internship opportunities in the industry. Our goal is to create meaningful
connections that help students gain real-world experience while giving companies access to
fresh, enthusiastic talent.

In today’s competitive job market, internships have become essential for students seeking to
enhance their employability. However, many students find it challenging to navigate the
internship landscape, and companies often struggle to find the right candidates. InternConnect
aims to simplify this process for both sides, making it easier for students to land internships and
for companies to identify promising talent.

For Students: InternConnect offers a friendly and intuitive platform where students can explore
internship opportunities that align with their skills and aspirations. We’ll also provide helpful
resources like resume tips and interview coaching to give them an edge.

For Companies: Our platform streamlines the recruitment process, allowing businesses to post
internships and manage applications efficiently. This way, they can focus on finding the best
candidates without the usual hassle.

We plan to operate on a freemium model. Students will have free access to the platform, while
companies can opt for a subscription model to unlock premium features—like enhanced job
postings and access to a wider talent pool. Additionally, we’ll explore partnerships with
universities to create mutually beneficial opportunities.

We’re seeking initial funding through grants and angel investors to kickstart our journey. With a
solid plan in place, we expect to break even within two years, with profitability driven by
subscription fees and partnerships.

Established in 2021 by Mohammed Jemal and Yalew Alemayehu, both business educators at
Addis Ababa University, Glopia Consulting Enterprise was founded with a clear vision: to bridge
the gap between academia and industry through innovative training and development initiatives.

Since its inception, Glopia Consulting has focused on empowering various stakeholders by
offering tailored training programs. Our courses cover essential topics such as digital marketing,
innovation, business formation, and business management, equipping participants with the skills
needed to thrive in today’s competitive landscape.

At present, we are focused on expanding our training offerings and enhancing our partnerships
with educational institutions and businesses. Our goal is to develop new programs that address
emerging trends and challenges in the marketplace. Looking ahead, we aim to solidify our
position as a leading provider of training and development solutions, helping bridge the skills
gap between academia and industry.
