Curriculum Change Log (v2.

0):

● Curriculum has been converted from a single quarter (10 week) course to a Semester
long course (20 weeks)
● Original Lesson #10: Engineering Tradeoffs was converted to a supplemental lesson
and the following lessons were sequentially moved up.
● Original Lesson #11: Modeling Engineering Problems was converted to a supplemental
lesson and the following lessons were sequentially moved up
● Original Lesson #14: Coefficient of Friction was converted to a supplemental lesson and
the following lessons were sequentially moved up
● Added extra syllabus lesson at beginning of Section 3 to represent change in quarters
● Maze Madness added as a supplemental lesson for section 4
● These changes were broadly made to provide maximum flexibility to instructors to
enable them to tailor the curriculum to their schedules and level of experience.

● Lesson sequencing has been changed to reflect extended timing
● All revved documents have had (v2.0) added to their footers
● The Syllabus has had dead links removed and content updated to reflect the extended
timing
● Lesson 5 and Lesson 24 were converted from their original content to be based around
REV’s “Hello Robot” documentation
○ The reason for this change was to provide students with better programming
guidance than the v1.0
● Minor content updates throughout most PowerPoints and Kahoot! related documents to
stay up to date with REV hardware/software changes
