Effective Studying Methods
◎ Textbook readings in advance.

Assessment Scheme
1) On-going assessment:
- Participation 10%
- Group assignment (proposal) 20%
- Activities (write emails/reports/etc.) 10%
- Quiz 10%
- Group Project 20%
- Final exam (60 questions/60’) 30%
2) Completion Criteria: Every on-going assessment
component > 0, Final Exam Score >=4 and Grade Average
>= 5/10

◎ 20% group assignment (proposal): Write proposal (min.
4 pages) and present main ideas in class 15’ (10’
presentation, 5’ feedback) for lectures’ approval of the
project.
◎ 10% mark for proposal, 10% mark for presentation.

◎ 20% group project: The mini products reflect the
effectiveness of the group works. The presentations must
reflect the ability to follow the oral. For the 30 to 40-minute
presentation, you are required to showcase all of your key
points mentioned in your project proposal and how to
make it done in front of your classmates and lecturer (30’
presentation, 10’ for Q&A).
◎ 10% mark other students in class evaluate group.
◎ Lecturer evaluates 6%, 4% for Q&A (2% each question).

◎ Attend more than 80% of contact hours in order to be
accepted to the final examination (6 slots with acceptable
reasons and evidences, absent slot 7th = fail the course),
check attendance list again after each.
◎ Take attendance check: 10’ after the start time.
◎ Late à absent.

◎ Actively participate in class activities.
◎ Fulfill tasks given by instructor after class.
◎ Use laptops in class only for learning purpose.
◎ Access the course website E-learning LMS for up-
to-date information and material of the course, for
online supports from teachers and other students
and for practicing and assessment.

v Phone, laptop allowed with conditions in class.
