Engine Testing Procedure

Step 1 Run the engine in idle RPM for 30 minutes


Step 2 Gradually increase the RPM and run the engine for minimum 30 minutes
Step 3 Decrease to idle RPM and run the engine for 2 hours
Step 4 Run the engine in high RPM for 2 hours
Step 5 Connect the dynamometer and run the engine in Idle for 1 hour with no load
Step 6 Gradually increase to high RPM and run the engine for 30 minutes with no load
Step 7 Gradually apply the load and run the engine with 25% load for 30 minutes
Step 8 Run the engine with 50% load for 30 minutes
Step 9 Run the engine with 75% load for 30 minutes
Step 10 Run the engine with 100% load for 30 minutes
Step 11 Decrease the load to 80% and run the engine for 1 hour
Step 12 Drcrease the RPM to idle and run the engine with 50% load for 1 Hour
