II. RATIONALE:
Malnutrition among children in Barangay Cambulaga, Sorsogon
City, is a significant public health concern, contributing to high
rates of morbidity and mortality. Existing data (cite sources if
available, e.g., government reports, health statistics) indicates
[specific data on malnutrition rates]. A community-based feeding
program has been implemented to address this issue, but its
effectiveness needs to be rigorously evaluated to inform future
interventions and resource allocation. This research will assess
the program’s impact on nutritional status, health outcomes, and
community participation.
III. OBJECTIVES:
-To determine the effectiveness of the feeding program in
improving the nutritional status (weight, height, BMI) of
participating children.
-To assess the impact of the program on key health indicators
(e.g., incidence of illness, hospitalization rates) among
participating children.
-To evaluate community participation and satisfaction with the
program, such as:
