A. Course Design

Course Title: COMPUTER SYSTEMS SERVICING NC II

Nominal Duration: 37 hrs. (Basic Competencies)


80 hrs. (Common Competencies)
160 hrs. (Core Competencies)

Qualification Level: NC II

Course Description: This course is designed to develop and enhance the knowledge, skills, and
attitudes of a Computer Systems Service Technician, in accordance with industry standards. It covers
the basic and common competencies in addition to the core competencies such as to install and
configure computer systems, set-up computer networks, set-up computer servers and to maintain and
repair computer systems and networks.

Trainee Entry Requirements:


- Can Communicate in Basic English in both oral and written
- Physically, emotionally, psychologically and mentally fit
- With good moral character
- Can perform basic mathematical computation
