Moving-Up Ceremony

2024-2025
INTODUCTION:
MC1: A victorious afternoon to one and all. Today we mark an exceptional day in our calendar as
we celebrate the tireless journey of our students.
MC1&2: Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the __________________

PROCESSIONAL
MC 1: And now, the processional march! Let us all welcome, the candidates for completion, with
their parents.
MC1: Let us welcome the stakeholders in education, _____________
MC1: Let ug give a glad hand to the pillars of this institution, the faculty and staff of MLG CL of
Learning, together with the honoured guest.
MC1: We request everyone to please remain in your respective places to maintain the formality
of this undertaking. Thank you.

I. PRELIMINARIES
MC1: And to formally start our program, may I request everyone to stand for the singing of the
Philippine National Anthem followed by prayer, DepEd Leyte Hymn, Hilongos Hymn, MLG CL
Hymn.
Please be seated.

II. WELCOME ADDRESS


MC2: To formally welcome us all to this moving-up ceremony, me we request Mrs. Emma R.
Wagas, our office in charge and school registrar, candidate for completion, to do the honor. A
hand, please.
(Thank you so much for a thoughtful and superb message. I hope all your fellow students have
comprehended the shared points. Let us again; give her a warm round of applause)

III. PROMOTIONAL CEREMONY


MC1: And now the most significant moment in every moving-up ceremony has come. May we
call on the Class Adviser of Grade 7, Grade 8, Grade 9 and SHS grade 11 students for the
presentation of candidate for completion. This is to be followed by the confirmation of
completers by our School Principal, Dr. Erlinda A. Lina.
(Congratulations to the completers)

IV. INTERMISSION NUMBER


MC2: At this juncture, you are going to witness an intermission number from one of our selected
Grade 7- students. Let’s give them round of applause.
(Thank you for that wonderful performance!)

MC1: And to continue, let us pin our ears to our Research Coordinator/ College Professor, Dr.
Nenita P. Albior as she delivers a message to the completers.

VII. AWARDING OF ACADEMIC AND SPECIAL AWARDS TO HIGH SCHOOL


PROMOTERS
MC1: To finish a certain course or discipline is a breakthrough in a student’s life and it is just
right to celebrate their achievements. MLG CL put much importance on student’s hard-earned
success, both academic and non-academic.
And the following recognition is given to students who exemplified the characteristics,
virtues, and values that led them to be worthy of such credit. We shall now give a highlight to
this important milestone as the candidates receive their evidence of achievement.

MC2: Academic Excellence Award


This award is given to students who have excelled in their studies and have been
consistently earning their posts as one of the finest on their class. The general average of their
grades falls within the prescribed range set by the Department of Education.
With Honors – are students whose general average fell within the 90 to 94 range.
With High Honors – are students whose general average fell within the 95 to 97 range.
With Highest Honors – are students whose general average fell within the 98 to 100 range.

MC1: May we call on our High School Principal, Dr. Erlinda A Lina and our Administrative
Officer Mrs. Emma R. Wagas for the recognition of the students. May I also request the Parents
or Guardians to accompany your child as they received the award.

VIII. MESSAGE
MC1: At this time, we are glad in the presence of a special person who gave his precious time
and support in one of the remarkable events of MLG CL of Learning. Let us all welcome Dr.
Diosdado G. Pavo Jr., District supervisor of the Hilongos South District for his Message.

XI. INTERMISSION NUMBER


MC2: To break the monotony of the program ladies and gentlemen let us all welcome the
selected students as they render their exciting special number.
