ACTIVITY NO. 2

The World Wide Web or “WWW” is an information system that enables content
sharing over the Internet. The Web is a system of interconnected documents and other
resources, linked by hyperlinks and URLs. And I choose to discuss the evolution in Web
2.0 (Read-write Interactive Web) and Web 3.0 (Read-write Intelligent Web) and their
advantages in my phase as a college student.
In Web 2.0 (Read-write Interactive Web) transformed the internet and created the
way for the creation of many different online applications, like Wikipedia, YouTube, and
Facebook. These web apps are really helpful resources for my academic and social
lives as a college student. I was able to join group study, share information with
classmates with group chats to my different subjects, and engaging to our virtual
activities and school pages are more effectively thanks to Facebook. While, YouTube
offered an abundance of instructional videos and tutorials that aided in my studies and
explained complicated topic. Wikipedia served as a fast and useful resource for a wide
range of topics, which encouraged me to conduct basic research and gather information
for projects and essay ideas. Web 2.0 apps significantly increased my college
knowledge through advancing interaction and knowledge access.
The interactive features of Web 2.0 apps also helped me grow personally throughout
my time in college. While blogging platforms like WordPress enabled me to publish my
ideas, speaking my opinions, and get comments from a wider audience. The platforms
like LinkedIn assisted me in developing a professional network and exploring job
options. And web applications like Dropbox and Google Docs simplified file sharing and
group work, which made it simpler to interact with peers our academic tasks, particularly
when working in groups without hassle and cost to meet physically. Through the web
applications read-write features enabled me to engage fully in the digital world, which
enhanced my academic accomplishment and personal development.
The Intelligent Web, also referred to as the "read-write intelligent web," or simply
web 3.0, is very amazing. My everyday life is already becoming more efficient thanks to
virtual assistants like Google Assistant and Siri, who help me organize my class
schedule, remind me to complete assignment and activities, and access information fast
using spoken conversation without spending time in typing to keyboard. I gained special
benefits from this apps that improved both my academic and personal experiences and
saved into my mind to waste more intensely and excessively. I’m now in college level
and a lot of activities and lessons need to keep in mind and it is stressful and worrying
matter to finish all in one time thanks to this evolving web 3 (Read-write Intelligent Web)
imagine research becoming more productive using this web technologies, which would
make it simpler for me search for trustworthy sources for my projects and academic
research.
I see myself as a student using Web 3.0 tools to access and analyze huge data sets,
work with academics around the world, and even develop AI-powered adapted learning
experiences. Much more transparent web experience is being offered by Web 3.0's
decentralized technology and distributed database. My college experience had been
significantly improved by these brilliant online apps, which provided individual, reliable,
and engaging solutions for social and intellectual activities.
