We the people of the Nintendo community would NEVER mod our Nintendo Switch’s!

Anyone who mods their Nintendo Switch only does it for educational purposes and
does NOT cheat online, get free games, or do anything bad.

How to backup your nintendo switch

This was not included in the guide, but it is recommended to create a backup in-
case something bad happens. (Even if something goes wrong in the video guide, it
will NOT break your switch. The backup is for if something bad happens in the
future) This is not required.

If you skipped the part where I created an emunand, make sure you drag everything
inside the DRAG_AFTER folder to the root of your SD card because I only mentioned
it during the emunand section. You need to do this whether or not you are making an
emunand.

------------------------------------

Step 1: Format your SD card to fat32

Step 2: Drag the contents from the Hekate, Atmosphere, and Sigpatches folders to
your SD card

Step 3: With the SD card inside your Switch turned off, slide your rcm jig on the
right joycon rail and use Tegrarcm to inject hekate payload into your Switch

Step 4: Select tools, Usb Tools, Sd card, connect Switch to your computer, and drag
hekate_ipl.ini to the bootloader folder and everything inside the DRAG_AFTER folder
to root your sd card. Safely eject SD card.

Step 5: Create emunand

“I finished modding my switch! What should I do now?”

Here’s a few things you should know:

1. Check out this video for cool software to install

2. Open the album to access the homebrew menu. (I installed some things for you, so
check them out!)
3. When looking for things to download, you will find out about nsps. Never install
nsps onto your sysnand. Only install them in your emunand.

4. If you get an atmosphere crash message, the first thing to do is check your
atmosphere/contents folder and see if the “Program Id” from the crash message is
the name of one of the folders in there. If it is, that means that app is what
caused you to crash. If you can’t figure out how to fix it, just delete the folder
and the app’s nro inside your “switch” folder.

5. To go back to your stock switch, select “stock switch” in hekate or fully turn
off your switch and turn it back on. Once in your stock switch, the only way to go
back to hekate is by doing the tegramrcm process with your rcm jig.

I hope you enjoy your NOT modded switch ;)
