Instructions:
Form a group of 5 members.
Read each question carefully and provide a detailed and well-explained answer. Where applicable, give real-life examples to support your response. Write your answers in clear, structured paragraphs. Limit your paragraphs to 5 sentences only All members must contribute to writing the answers. Deadline for this activity will be on Wednesday March 26, 2025 on your scheduled time. You will have to submit both softcopy and hardcopy to your instructor. I will assign one of your classmates to collect both hardcopy and softcopy.
Part 1: Identifying & Explaining
1. Differentiate between input and output devices. Provide at least three
examples for each and explain their role in computing. 2. Describe how biometric input devices work. Give an example of where they are commonly used and discuss one advantage and one disadvantage. 3. Explain how a touch screen works and discuss the benefits and limitations of using one in a retail environment. 4. Consider a student who has a visual impairment. What input and output devices could help them use a computer effectively? Justify your choices. 5. Some smartphones and modern laptops do not have physical keyboards. What are the pros and cons of using on-screen keyboards as compared to physical keyboards?
