Pre-requirements Before Taking the Assessment


System Readiness

• Ensure your laptop/desktop is fully charged or connected to a power source.

• Verify a stable and high-speed internet connection (minimum 4 MBPS upload and download).

• Make sure you close all the applications running in the background.

How to Log In

1. Open Google Chrome and go to https://abes910.examly.io/login

2. Enter your registered email address in the email box and click Next.

3. Enter your default password (all characters before the “@” in your email ID) and click Login.
4.After logging in, you will be directed to the Course Details page.
Installation and test taking procedure for Neo browser in Windows
Step 1: Click on the option to download the new browser application. The latest Neo Browser will be
downloaded to your system.

Step 2: When you click on the downloaded file, it will show this popup. Click More info and click run
anyway
Step 5: Before opening the Neo Browser application, ensure that all other applications are closed
and not running in the background.

• If any applications are running, you will encounter an error message prompting you to close
them, and you will not be allowed to proceed with the assessment.

Step 6: Once all unnecessary applications are closed, open the Neo Browser application. It will ask
for the confirmation to disable the windows key. Click yes to proceed further.

It will ask for the confirmation to make changes to your device. Click Yes to enter into the application.
Step 7: Enter the correct login URL (https://abes910.examly.io/login) to access your account.

Step 8: Provide your registered username and password to log in.


Step 9: Locate the respective test and click on the "Take Test" option.

Step 10: The Terms and Conditions page will appear. Read through the terms carefully and click
"Agree and Proceed."
Step 11: The system will now check for any background applications running.

• If any applications are detected, an error message will appear specifying the applications that
need to be closed. Exit the browser, close the mentioned applications, and try again.

• If no applications are running, you will be allowed to proceed with the assessment.
Step 12: Click Continue Test to proceed into the assessment.

Step 13: You will need to wait for 60 seconds before entering the assessment.

Step 14: After the timer ends, you will be directed into the assessment, where an Instructions pop-up
will appear.

For MCQ Assessments:


Step 15: The questions will be displayed on the left side, with the answer options on the right side.

Step 16: Select the correct answer option and click Next to navigate to the next question.
Step 17: The number of sections in the test will be visible in the top-left corner of the screen. You can
click on the section name to move between sections.

For Coding Questions:

Step 18: The problem statement will appear on the left side, and the code editor on the right side.
Step 19: You can select the programming language from the dropdown menu at the top-right corner of
the code editor.

Step 20: The Compile and Run and Submit Code buttons will be available at the bottom of the
screen.

• Compile and Run: This option checks for errors in your code. If errors are found, a
compilation error message will appear. If there are no errors, the sample test case status will
be displayed.
Submit Code: Click this button to evaluate the hidden test cases and receive marks. After
submitting, the results will display the number of test cases passed or failed. Ensure you submit
the code for every question to secure marks.
Step 21: To end the assessment, click on Submit Test in the top-right corner. Type END in the provided
space and confirm the submission.

Step 22: After completing the assessment, you can log out of your account
Step 23: To close the browser, click on the "Exit" button located in the top right corner

Step 24: It will ask for the confirmation to exit. Click Yes.

Step 25: Once again, the system will ask for the confirmation to make changes in the device. Click Yes.

1. Why is the NeoBrowser not launching after installation?

• Ensure you have installed the application properly.

• Restart your system and open the NeoBrowser again.

• Verify that your operating system meets the compatibility requirements.


2. Why do I see an error about "Application Name" needing to be closed?

• This means the system detected another application running in the background.

For Windows: Open Task Manager, right-click the application, and select End Task.

3. Does Neobrowser work without admin access?

• No, admin access is required to install and run the application properly.

4. Can Neobrowser run on mobile devices?

• No, NeoExam Checker is designed to run only on laptops or desktop systems.

5. I am getting error application error. What should I do now?

This error occurs if you attempt to open the application multiple times. Click once and wait for the
application to respond.
Ensure the application is installed correctly. If the issue persists, uninstall the application, download it

again, and reinstall it.

6. Why am I getting this message? How to resolve it?

Step 1: Search for "Edit System Environment Variables" in the windows and open it

Step 2: In the advanced option, click on "Environment Variables" please use "User Variables for" dialog
box to perform this operation

Step 3: In the user, click on "Path"


Step 4: Click on "New" and add the below-mentioned path

C:\Windows\System32

Click on "Ok" option and re-open the Neobrowser app and continue with the assessment.
7. Why am I getting this message? How to resolve it?

For the Java Script error kindly double click the application and wait for 10 seconds, if it is not opening
then follow the procedure given below,

Step 1: Search for "Edit System Environment Variables" in the windows and open it

Step 2: In the advanced option, click on "Environment Variables" please use "User Variables for" dialog
box to perform this operation

Step 3: In the user, click on "Path"


Step 4: Click on "New" and add the below-mentioned path

the application, you need to execute the commands in the terminal. The commands are given below.
• Open Terminal and navigate to the directory where the AppImage file is located.

Command: cd /path/to/your/AppImage

• Run the following command to make it executable:

Command: chmod +x filename.AppImage

• Execute the AppImage file by running:

Command:./filename.AppImage
Step 5: Enter the correct login URL to access your account.

Step 6: Provide your registered username and password to log in.
Step 7: Locate the respective test and click on the "Take Test" option.
