Noemi

you think is the essence of this event?
Nel
Well… in my own angle of vision, every High School Night signifies the celebration
of awards and achievements of our Senior students, specifically grade 10 because we
only have Jr High students in our school, and these legacies should be
handed over to the deserving and trustworthy inheritors…..who else? The junior
students!
Turnover Ceremonies
Noemi
It is a time for the school community to come together and celebrate the achievements of the
graduating class while also looking forward to the potential and promise of the juniors.
To begin with may we call on the selected students from grade 10, Ms Erica Ellen Banggay
and grade 9 student ms Mary Grace Calixtro for the passing of the Symbolic School Seal.
Passing on the Symbolic School Seal to junior high school learners holds significant importance
in the educational journey of students. The Symbolic School Seal represents the values,
traditions, and ethos of the school, embodying its spirit and history. By passing on this symbol to
junior high school learners, it fosters a sense of belonging, pride, and continuity within the
school community. It serves as a reminder of the school's legacy and the responsibility that
comes with upholding its standards and principles.
Book of Wisdom
Nel
Thank you ms Ehrale and ms Grace. Now let us move to the passing of the Book of Wisdom to
be done by ms Ehrale Daphne Gines and ms Aleah Nicole Gines.
The passing down of "The Book of Wisdom " to junior high school students holds significant
importance in their educational journey. This transfer of knowledge is a symbolic gesture that
represents the continuity of learning and the sharing of wisdom from one generation to the next.
By passing on this book, older students or mentors are not only sharing valuable information but
also instilling a sense of responsibility and respect for knowledge in younger students.
"The Book of Wisdom" serves as a repository of collective wisdom and experience that can
guide junior high school students in their academic pursuits and personal growth. It can inspire
curiosity, critical thinking, and a love for learning. Additionally, the act of passing down this
book fosters a sense of community and connection among students, creating a supportive
learning environment where knowledge is shared and cherished.
Symbolic Key of Responsibility
Noemi
At this juncture we will be witnessing the passing of The Symbolic Key of Responsibility to be
perfected by ms Justine May Paboayon and ms Sonnia Velasco.
Passing the symbolic key of responsibility to junior high students is crucial for their personal
growth and development. By entrusting them with responsibilities, such as leadership roles in
school clubs or projects, students learn valuable skills like time management, decision-making,
and accountability. This experience helps them build confidence and prepares them for the
challenges they will face in the future.
In conclusion, passing the symbolic key of responsibility to junior high students is not just about
delegating tasks; it is about shaping the leaders of tomorrow. By giving students opportunities to
take on responsibilities, we are equipping them with the skills and mindset needed to succeed in
both their academic and personal lives.
Nel
We’re more than just halfway for this turnover stuff. Furthermore, this event will not be
considered memorable in the absence of a candle-lighting ceremony. Such a ceremony
symbolizes the hand-over of the candles to the next bearers so as to lead & guide our school
and its stakeholders in reaching their dreams and aspirations.
The flame at the top of every paraffin elucidates the road to success for the outgoing seniors in
the next chapter of their academic career. At this point, let’s move onward and go forward
to the Candle Lighting Ceremony. We would like to call on __________________________,
the guest speaker to lead the candle lighting ceremony.
-Your road to success will always be under construction. But, with your innate aptitude coupled
with great attitude; you can shape up your altitude with accuracy & fondness. Good luck to the
members of the Class of 2024
