Description Security features

• Users and user groups can be maintained in the database.
• Users need individual ID and password to open the database and access CMX.
Communication features:
• CMX can communicate with MC6, MC6-Ex, MC6-WS, MC2, MC4, MC5, MC5-IS and MC5P calibrators.
User interface and reporting features:
• Calibration certificates in three (3) predefined formats.

Description • bMobile is a tablet application, which requires a communication option to CMX.

• bMobile is a free of charge app which can be downloaded for android and windows (Play Store and Microsoft
Store).
• bMobile is used to document calibrations and maintenance checks offline.

LDAP

Description Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) is used to authenticate CMX users by using the corporate network
account (Active Directory).
In practice, this means that CMX users will login to CMX with their Windows login and password.
A user account with the same login must be created in CMX. The password will be checked against the network
password. All permissions will still be maintained in CMX.

signature, which requires the user to type in an ID and password for the system.

Enhanced work order handling

Description Enhanced work order handling introduces a new view in CMX called work orders. This view is used to display all
active work orders that have been received from the asset management system via Business Bridge.
Some of the included functionalities:
• Work order start date.
• Work order end date.
• Emergency calibration.
• Work order statuses (open, in progress, completed, cancelled).
Typical Use Cases Asset management systems often schedule work to be executed during a specific timeframe. With CMX
Enhanced Work Order Handling this time frame can be sent to CMX for the calibration technicians to visualize as
work order start and end dates.
Typically, a calibration needs to be approved for it to be completed. With Enhanced Work Order Handling, it is
possible to require approval for each calibration / work order before it is considered as completed. Cancelling
work orders is also possible in CMX, with the Enhanced Work Order Handling option.

The remote helpdesk is in standby and accessible by phone, fax or email in accordance with the service hours
from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 4 PM (the time zone in Manufacturer’s domicile), excluding public holidays.
Support is available at minimum in English language.
The support service also includes error diagnostic services and the helpdesk will use reasonable efforts in
aiming to repair errors.

RENEWAL NOTIFICATION
Beamex will issue a renewal quotation one month before the expiration date of any current Agreement. Renewal
of expired/terminated Software Service Agreement requires an order of version upgrade for all existing licences.
