ROLE
As a Consultant at Deloitte Consulting, you will be responsible for individually delivering high quality
work product within due timelines in agile framework. On requirement basis consultants will be
mentoring and/or directing junior team members/liaising with onsite/offshore teams to understand the
functional requirements. Plan, perform, and manage medium to high complexity production support
tasks and activities that require subject matter knowledge regarding general application and
infrastructure support (e.g., incident, change, problem management, controls, monitoring production
processing) and ITIL framework
* Experienced in developing software solutions using industry standard delivery methodologies like
Agile, Waterfall across different architectural patterns.
* Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code maintaining industry and client standards ensuring
code quality and code coverage adherence as well as debugging and resolving any issues/defects
* Participate in delivery process like Agile development and actively contribute to sprint planning, daily
stand-ups, and retrospectives
* Resolve issues or incidents reported by end users and escalate any quality issues or risks with team
leads/scrum masters/project leaders
* Expertise in end-to-end construction cycle starting from Design (low level and high level), coding,
unit testing, deployment and defect fixing along with coordinating with multiple stakeholders.
* Analyze and resolve or triage application support incidents/requests, Respond to end user (client)
support inquiries with a sense of urgency
* Maintain all application SLAs and respond to users via a ticketing system for incident management
* Provide knowledge transfer & training within the team, share best practices with team members to
enhance the quality and efficiency of business user support and contribute to the knowledge base for
new or improved functionalities.
QUALIFICATIONS
Must Have:
* 3+ - 6 years of hands-on experience using Microsoft technologies like C#.Net, ASP.Net, WCF, MVC
and Web APIs
* 2+ years of software development in developing web applications and client/server applications.
* Strong knowledge on RDBM concepts. Ability to Write SQL with complex joins and should be able to
use database functions, SQL, PL/SQL
* Experience in GitHub or similar repository management tools
* Experience with one of code deployment tool, such as Jenkins, TeamCity, or Ansible
* Ability to perform estimation of work products
* Good interpersonal and communication skills
* Flexibility to adapt and apply innovation to varied business domain and apply technical solutioning
and learnings to use cases across business domains and industries
* Knowledge and experience working with Microsoft Office tools.
* Flexibility in working in shifts and ODC
* Ability to provide after hours and on-call support as needed
Good to Have:
* Experience with version control, continuous integration, and continuous delivery concepts
* Working knowledge of ITIL/ITSM principles and practices
* Working experience on ServiceNow ticking tool
* Understanding of containerization, container management tools
* Understanding of <code and application security tools if applicable>
* Experienced in app performance monitoring such as Dynatrace
* Experience with Azure
* Experience with ReactJs / AngularJS or equivalent UI development technologies is preferred
