The Kind Girl

In a small village, there was a girl who lives in a very


simple family. Her name is Maria. Maria wakes up early in the
morning to help her mother in selling vegetables in the market. She is
also kind to all. She tends to help others especially to the needy one.
One morning while they are selling vegetables in the market, she
saw an old man sitting on the street that seems tired and hungry.
Without a doubt Maria approached the old man, “How are you, sir?”
Maria asked. “I am tired and hungry. Since yesterday I have
not eaten because I don’t have enough money to buy food”, replied
the old man. Maria gave 50 pesos to the old man to buy food.
The old man was very happy and thankful to Maria for the money.
Now the old man uses the money to buy food.
