Lesson Plan in Empowerment Technology

Content Standards: The learners demonstrate an understanding of the


use of advanced tools and techniques found in
common productivity and software applications in
developing ICT content for specific professional
tracks.
Performance Standards: The learners shall be able to at the end of the 2-
week period independently apply advanced
productivity tools to create or develop ICT
content for use in specific professional tracks.

These may be in the form of, but not limited to:


1. Calculating spread sheet of athletic statistics
(Sports)
2. Layout of catalogue of creative works (Arts)
3. Materials/ ingredients projections for batches
of baked goods (Tech - Voc)
4. Letterhead/ business card design (Business/
Academic)

Learning Competencies and Code: The learners use common productivity tools
effectively by maximizing advanced application

The learners creates an original or derivative ICT


content to effectively communicate or present
data or information related to specific

Quarter: First Week: 4 Day: 2

I. Objectives:

At the end of the lesson, 100% of the learners are expected to:

a. Use hyperlinks to improve their slideshows.
b. Embed files and data to their slideshows.
c. Maximize slideshow as an effective visual aid tool.

II. Content

Subject Matter: Advanced Presentation Skills; custom animations and timing;


hyperlinking in presentations; embedding files and data.
Integration: The learners will be able to use some advanced capabilities of
Microsoft PowerPoint commonly used to increase productivity
and efficiency.
Strategies: Lecture; Collaborative Learning; Hands-on practice.
Materials: PPT presentation, Laptop, TV, Computer units with peripherals.

Present and clarify the course’s learning objectives and

Review of previous lesson Review the key points in the discussion of custom
animations and timing.

embedding objects in PPT and the students will watch
attentively. If there are any questions, they will be
entertained accordingly.

for their comments and suggestions. (Please see attached list)

The students will read in advance on the topic advanced and complex formulas
and computations on their Learner’s Material pages 23-26.
