Introduction
In a world where resource waste is rampant, developing a safe and efficient donation system is
crucial. This proposal outlines a project aimed at creating a secure web based and mobile
application platform for donations that will minimize resource wastage and provide essential
support to those in need.
Background
Resource waste has become a significant global issue, leading to environmental degradation
and missed opportunities to help those in need. Many items, including food, clothing, and other
essentials, often end up in landfills when they could be repurposed through donations. By
developing a safe donation system, we can redirect these resources to support individuals and
communities in need.
Problems
The key problems addressed by this project include:
High levels of resource wastage
Lack of a secure and efficient donation platform
Inadequate support for individuals and communities in need
3
Objectives
General Objectives
To create a safe and efficient donation system that minimizes resource wastage and provides
essential support to those in need.
Specific Objectives
To develop a secure platform for collecting and distributing donations
To reduce the amount of resources that go to waste
To enhance support for individuals and communities in need
To increase community participation in donation activities
Research question
What are the most effective strategies for developing a safe and efficient donation system?
4
Methodology
The methodology will include:
Conducting a needs assessment to identify the most pressing resource needs within the
community
Developing a secure online platform for donations
Implementing protocols for the safe collection, storage, and distribution of donated
items
Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of the donation system through regular
assessments
Literature review
Resource waste control and donation systems are crucial for sustainable development and
supporting those in need. This literature review explores various approaches and successful
implementations of waste management and donation systems, highlighting key findings and
best practices.
According to the article on Funds for NGOs, securing funds for waste management and recycling
projects is essential for their success. The article emphasizes the importance of identifying
potential donors, creating compelling proposals, and demonstrating the project's impact on the
community and environment
The GitHub repository "FeedOn" presents a comprehensive food waste management system
that connects food donors with beneficiaries. The system includes features such as food
donation tracking, inventory management, and real-time notifications for donors and recipients.
This project demonstrates the potential of technology in reducing food waste and supporting
those in need.

Budget Scheduling
As there are no costs associated with our project, a detailed budget schedule is not necessary.
The focus will be on utilizing available resources and leveraging community participation.
Time scheduling
The project will be conducted over a period of 4 months, with key milestones including:
Month 1: Documentation
Month 2: Design the whole system
Month 3: Website development
Month 4: Mobile app development
Conclusion
In conclusion, this project aims to develop a safe and efficient web based and mobile
application based donation system to minimize resource wastage and provide essential support
to those in need. By implementing targeted measures, we can achieve significant benefits for
the environment and the community. The study's findings will contribute to the development
of sustainable donation practices and promote a culture of resource efficiency.
