3. Project Category (Select One):
o Analog / Digital Communication
o Microwave Communication
o Optical Communication
Project Objective:
The objective of this project is to design and implement an AM-based wireless voice transmission
system that can transmit voice signals in real time using Amplitude Modulation (AM). The system
consists of a transmitter circuit that modulates voice signals and a receiver that demodulates and
plays the audio through an AM radio. This project helps in understanding analog communication
principles and real-world AM modulation techniques.
(Clearly state the aim and expected outcome of the project in 2-3 sentences.)
Problem Statement:
Traditional wired communication systems limit mobility and require physical connections. Wireless
communication using AM transmission provides a low-cost, short-range alternative for voice
communication. This project aims to develop a simple AM transmitter and receiver system for
educational and practical applications.
6. Literature Review (Brief Summary):
(Discuss key research papers, books, or prior works that support your project idea.)
Methodology & Implementation Plan:
Step 1: Conduct literature review on AM communication principles.
Step 2: Design and simulate the AM transmission and reception circuits.
Step 3: Assemble the components on a breadboard and test the transmission.
Step 4: Validate the results by tuning an AM radio receiver to the transmission frequency.
Step 5: Document findings and prepare a final report and presentation.
(Describe the step-by-step approach to achieving the project objectives.)
