1. PURPOSE
The purpose of the course is to acquaint students with knowledge on human behaviour,
theories of learning and guidance and counselling processes so that they can apply these
in their teaching profession.

2. EXPECTED LEARNING OUTCOMES


By the end of the course the student should be able to :-
a) Apply and relate theories of learning and their influence on teaching and
learning.
b) Apply principles of human behaviour to teaching.
c) Identify guidance and counselling needs of learners
d) Design teaching and learning strategies that meet learners’ diverse needs
e) Manage learner behaviour in the classroom.
