Course Outline The course aims to introduce students to the fundamental properties,
applications, and sustainability aspects of building materials in interior
design. It provides essential knowledge on material selection, structural
behavior, and aesthetic considerations, enabling students to make informed
decisions for functional and creative interior spaces.

Course Outline By the end of this course, students will be able to:
1.Identify various building materials used in interior design and their
characteristics.
2.Understand the principles of material selection based on functionality,
aesthetics, and sustainability.
3.Analyze the performance and durability of different materials in varied
environments.
4.Apply knowledge of materials to conceptualize and present interior design
projects.
5.Evaluate cost, maintenance, and environmental impact in material
selection.
