3. Mgbakwunye nsonaazu(Suffix)
Mgbakwunye nganihu bu ndi a na-agbakwunye
n’ihu isingwaa iji mebe okwu ohuru. Omumaatu:
a/e dika ndi a:
Nganihu na omekangwaa:asi, esi. eri, agba, ekwu,
aga, dgz
Nganihu na mfinitiv:iga, ije, iri, iju, iza, icho, ikwu,
igba, ira, ikpo, dgz
Nganihu na jerondu: odide, oriri, osisi, okwukwu,
oruru, ogiga, opupu, dgz
Mgbakwunye nnonetiti bu ndi a na-agbakwunye
n’etiti okwu obula o no na ya, o kachasi n’etiti
isingwaa abuo. Omumaatu:
Nnonetiti ndi nwere ‘m’- atamata, erimeri,
anumanu, edemede, ejemeje, abamaba, ewumewu,
akumaku, atumatu, akomako, dgz
Nnonetiti ndi nwere ‘r’- ederede, egwuregwu,
ekwurekwu, esiresi, apirapi, anyuranyu, dgz
Nnonetiti ndi nwere ‘ta’- nhatanha, akataaka,
awutaawu, dgz
Assignment: Underline all the affixes in the following
words: bute, nhatanha, ederede, acha, egbu, aku,
ewumewu, pekara, pichaa, chota.
