The document discusses the dual impact of artificial intelligence (AI) on humanity, highlighting both its benefits and drawbacks. AI excels in tasks requiring analysis and decision-making, potentially reducing risks in dangerous situations and increasing productivity, but it also poses threats such as unemployment and decreased human engagement. As AI continues to evolve, its integration into various industries raises concerns about dependency and the future of human labor.

Best or worst thing for humanity

Can machines think? All must know that humans like us use

accessible information in order to recognize problems and make

judgments, so why can’t machines do such things?

Artificial intelligence, or AI refers to the use of computers to do tasks

that are typically performed by human intelligence. AI is better than

humans at analyzing massive amounts of information. The aim of AI is to

be able to perform tasks like judgment, problem-solving, and decision-

making like humans. The rise of artificial intelligence became relevant

since it corresponded with the rise of modernity. At that point, AI had both

positive and negative effects.

One of the positive effects is with artificial intelligence, there are no

such risks. By allowing AI to carry out tasks like disarming a bomb,

traveling to space, and exploring the deepest areas of the ocean, humans

can minimize potential dangers. Machines are resistant by nature and can

endure any dangerous conditions. Furthermore, they deliver accurate

works. Also, Several studies indicate that people can only be productive

for short periods of time, since people require breaks and time to balance

their professional and personal lives. On the other hand, AI can think

much more quickly than humans. They may work on several things at
once and still get accurate results. Even repeated tasks can be easily

performed by AI, which is a big advantage.

The first negative effect of the emergence of AI is unemployment.

Robots are one example of artificial intelligence in use, and they have the

potential to eliminate jobs and raise unemployment. As a result, some

expect that there may be a chance of unemployment and that robots may

eventually replace people. For instance, in advanced countries like Japan,

human resources are intended to be replaced by robots in manufacturing

businesses or enterprises. Another negative effect is that the

development of AI has the unfavorable side effect of making people more

lazy. AI software performs repetitive tasks. We tend to engage our brains

less and less than usual since we do not have to put out the effort to

memorize information and work puzzles in order to complete a task.

Future generations may experience troubles as a result of this addiction to

AI.

We currently live in the “big data” era, when it is possible to compile

huge amounts of data without exerting too much effort. In this aspect, the

use of artificial intelligence has already been highly successful across a

number of industries, including technology, banking and finance,

marketing, and entertainment. We’ve seen that large data and massive

computers just enable artificial intelligence to learn through raw force,

even if methods don’t get any better. Al appears to be the hottest new

thing in the near future. In fact, it has already started. We are clueless

that the previous time we called a company, we weren’t speaking to a

human operator. These days, it’s the machines that are calling. Long-

term, general intelligence, or perhaps a machine that is more functionally

capable than humans in every task, is the ideal goal.
