SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA. It’s intended for customers who want to gain insights into their legacy SAP ECC system in order to
accelerate their transition to SAP S/4HANA.
The following table explains the key features of SAP Business Transformation Center:
Uploading the analysis file and creating the digital blueprint Prepare your data for planning a transformation project.
Upload and save the analysis file, which contains the data
exported from the source SAP ECC system.
Planning the scope of your data transformation project Plan your transformation project.
Converting the defined scope from a digital blueprint into an Turn your digital blueprint into an executable entity which enables
executable entity productive migration.

Implementation
The following table lists the key features for implementation activities with SAP Cloud ALM.
For detailed information and guidance on how to use these features, refer to the in-app help.
Project management Set up and manage your implementation projects by using SAP Activate roadmaps and
onboarding your team.
Project landscape setup Define the technical landscape of your cloud products for implementation projects.
Assign tenants to their respective tenant roles like the starter, test, and
production roles for your products.
Project overview Get an overview of key aspects of your project, such as scopes, processes, tasks, and
test cases to gain a holistic understanding of your project status and progress.
Process management Scope solution processes that are part of the project, view details for solution
processes, and capture requirements.
You can conduct a fit-to-standard workshop to define the scope of a project. You can
review a filtered list of solution processes and define which processes are in scope or
out of scope. Solution processes follow the descriptive solution process content, for
example SAP Best Practices content for SAP S/4HANA Cloud.
You can create and maintain a process hierarchy that reflects your organization.

stories, and features.
See the changes of the requirement, and the project members who have been
involved in this requirement.
Change and deployment management Get an overview and manage the features to deploy changes for an implementation
project:
Create features.
Create and release transports for SAP S/4HANA on-premise, SAP S/4HANA
Cloud Private Edition, and SAP NetWeaver Application Server for ABAP on-
premise.
See the changes of the feature and the project members who have been
involved in this feature.
Test management To ensure that the requirements you've implemented work from a functional
perspective or to test an application in general, you can conduct testing.

Create and prepare test plans and assign relevant test cases and testers to
them.
Execute manual and automated test runs and document the outcomes.
Create and assign defects for test runs and test actions.
Analytics and reporting Get a multi-project overview. You can monitor the readiness of your projects and view
your process hierarchy assignments.
Track your implementation project and get further analytical details in the analytics
overview. For example, you can find progress reports, historical charts, and traceability
matrices.
Landscapes - design and visualization Get an overview on your cloud, on-premise, and logical systems and the groups
(business services) to which the systems belong. Relations between systems are also
visualized, if any.
To access this application, you must have at least read access to the Landscape
Management app. Access Control Lists defined for the Landscape
Management app will be automatically applied.
For more information on roles, authorizations, and access control, see Roles and
Authorizations and Access Control.
This application displays the following entities available from the Landscape
Management app in SAP Cloud ALM:
This application doesn’t display technical systems or cloud services that are
unsubscribed or marked as deleted in the Landscape Management app.
SAP Readiness Check Evaluate your existing system in preparation for a transformation journey (that is, an
upgrade to a new product version or a transformation to a new SAP solution):
Identify required preparative activities and even possible preprojects for your
system well before the actual project starts.
Once the integration between SAP Readiness Check and SAP Cloud ALM has been
activated, you can set up references between findings in both SAP Readiness Check for
SAP S/4HANA and SAP Readiness Check for SAP S/4HANA upgrades, and SAP Cloud
ALM projects.

Operations
The following table lists the key features for operations with SAP Cloud ALM.
For detailed information and guidance on how to use these features, refer to the in-app help.
Integration and exception monitoring Integration and exception monitoring enables you to monitor data exchanged among
services (public or private) in both cloud-only scenarios and hybrid scenarios within the
selected scope.
Business process monitoring Business process monitoring enables the detect-to-correct lifecycle of SAP Cloud
solutions along the end-to-end processes of the intelligent suite.
Monitor the health of your business processes in real time with the help of
predefined business process key performance indicators (KPIs).
Access information about business documents for each of your processes, for
example, for reporting purposes or root cause analyses.
Define event definitions and process alerts for KPI threshold violations.
Health monitoring Health monitoring displays the most important health metrics defined by the monitored
services and systems.
Use it to check the correct function of a monitored entity. It covers the functional
aspects, like availability of components, utilization of resources, or reported errors. This
distinguishes health monitoring from real user monitoring, which concentrates mainly
on performance monitoring.
In case of an issue an event is triggered; and you can configure automatic event
reactions, like alerts, email notifications or automatic execution of a procedure.
Real user monitoring Real user monitoring permanently measures all real user requests from your managed
SAP solutions. The monitored services and systems send monitoring data to SAP Cloud
ALM covering performance as well as utilization aspects. Also, real user monitoring
offers drilldown possibilities from the global use of selected request types to single
executions and execution details.
In case of too many http errors an event is triggered; and you can configure automatic
event reactions, like alerts, email notifications, or ticket creations.
Synthetic user monitoring Synthetic user monitoring displays performance and availability issues of your
applications even before end users are affected by automatically executing your
Selenium IDE scripts on a regular schedule.
Define runners, which are the components executing the tests of the scenarios.
This is custom documentation. For more information, please visit SAP Help Portal. 6

Display a time overview of the performance and availability for your scenarios as
a heatmap.
In case of an issue an event is triggered; and you can configure automatic event
reactions, like alerts, email notifications or automatic execution of a procedure.
Notification management Notification management enables you to manage the receiver of email notifications
regarding operations with SAP Cloud ALM.
Intelligent event processing Intelligent event processing enables you to manage event processing rules. You can
create new rules, edit existing rules, deactivate and delete rules when they are not
needed anymore.
Job and automation monitoring Job and automation monitoring helps you to evaluate the status of automated actions
and background jobs.
Job status management Job status management provides you an overview of all jobs scheduled for a specific
use case such as Integration Monitoring and Exception Monitoring. The jobs displayed
can be any kind of jobs such as data collection jobs, alert calculation jobs, housekeeping
jobs.
Business service management Business service management enables you to manage business services, assigned
services and systems, and related events:
Configuration and security analysis Track the changes that have been applied to ABAP-based systems that are configured in
SAP SAP Cloud ALM.

Tag groups are used to offer multiple tag values for a specific aspect. You can
create, rename, and delete tag groups.
Landscape management Landscape management enables you to get an overview of your services, business
services, and systems that you use for your solutions. This information is the basis for
all SAP Cloud ALM apps.
