1. Introduction
The Department of Science & Computer Science at MIT Arts, Commerce & Science College
organized a seminar on "Automation Software Testing with Selenium" on March 1, 2025.
The seminar was conducted for TYBSC(CS) students and was aimed at enhancing their
understanding of automation testing. The resource person for the seminar was Mrs.
Diksha Deshmukh, a Software Test Engineer at Amdocs, Pune, and an alumnus of MIT
ACSC, Alandi(D), Pune.
4. Speaker Insights
Mrs. Diksha Deshmukh provided a detailed explanation of how automation testing
improves efficiency and accuracy in software development. She demonstrated basic
Selenium commands and explained how companies use Selenium in real-world projects.
Students also learned about career opportunities in automation testing and industry
trends.
