IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE CANDIDATES

1. The entry of the candidates shall start at 07:00 AM in Morning Session and at 01:00 PM in Evening Session on both the days. The entry will be
closed 10 minutes before the scheduled commencement of the Examination. Hence, no candidate will be allowed to enter into the Examination Centre
after 08:20 AM in the Morning Session and 02:20 PM in the Evening Session. It shall be responsibility of the candidate to reach the Examination Centre
well in time.

2. The candidates must bring the Admit Card to the Examination Centre alongwith one document in original as proof of their clear identity like Aadhar
Card, Voter Card, Driving License, Pan Card, Passport etc. to be shown at the entry point of Examination Centre on each day of Exam.
3. The candidates are advised to visit their Examination Centre at least one day in advance and familiarize themselves with the itinerary to avoid the last minute
hassle in their own interest. The candidates should reach their Exam Centres on the day of Examination well in time for Frisking, Bio-Metric
Attendance, Scanning of QR Codes printed on Admit Cards etc.
4. Bringing of Mobile Phone, Bluetooth, Tab or any other Electronic Device etc. and having Wrist watches, any kind of Jewellery (Nose pin, Bangles,
Neckless / Chain, Ring / Ear-ring etc.), Purse, Belt, Water Bottles etc. and articles such as Books, Notes & Loose Sheets etc. in the Examination Centre is
strictly prohibited. Hence, candidates are advised not to bring the above items in the Examination Centre as the safe keeping of the same cannot be assured.
The Commission will not be responsible for any loss in this regard, therefore, the candidates are directed to avoid carrying such items at the Exam Centre.
5. Any marks including any religious marks on the Answer Sheet, whereby, an Answer Sheet can be identified to a particular candidature, is prohibited.
6. Bio-metric attendance is compulsory for all the candidates. Candidates without Bio-metric attendance will be considered as Absent.
7. The candidates are not allowed to sit on any seat other than the seat allotted to them against their Roll. Numbers. Violation would have serious

8. A signal / bell will be given at the beginning of the Examination and then candidates may start writing their answers. A signal / bell will also be
given for half time and at the end of the examination.
9. The candidate should bring her / his own Blue ink pen / ball point pen (not more than 2-3). Further, if required, she / he should bring her / his own
Mathematical drawing instruments including a flat rule divided on the edges into inches and tenths on an inch and into centimeters and millimeters, set squares,
a protector, a pair of compasses and T-Square with an – H or NH pencil point, and H or HB pencil and an eraser. However, the candidates can bring Non
Programmable Scientific Calculator in optional paper i.e. on 31.03.2024 in Evening Session only.
10. In view of the orders dated 30.03.2019 passed by Hon’ble Punjab & Haryana High Court in CWP-PIL-65-2019, it is hereby announced that the baptized Sikh
candidates, who intend to carry kara and kripan to the Examination Centre, should reach their exam centre one hour before the reporting time and allow the
authorities to screen their kara and kripan to find out as to whether there is any suspected device, electronic or otherwise, used in the same. In case, it is found
that there are suspected devices in the said religious signs, they shall be restrained from carrying the same in the Examination Centre. It is also made clear that
in case such candidates fail to report at the Examination Centre one hour before the reporting time or fail to cooperate with the staff on duty in screening, they
shall not be allowed to take the Examination with such kara and kripan.
11. The candidate must fill the required particulars printed on the cover page of the Answer Sheet. Candidate should also carefully read and follow the instructions
printed on question paper and answer sheet.
12. The candidates must not talk to each other and complete silence must be observed in the Examination Hall.
13. The Answer Sheet of the candidate using unfair means will be confiscated, and such candidate will stand disqualified.

14. In case of copying, both the candidates (the one who is copying and the other who is allowing to copy) will be disqualified or any other punishment as the
Commission may deem fit to impose.

15. No candidates will be permitted to leave the Examination Hall till the Examination is over. The candidate after completion of the paper, shall continue being
seated at her / his desk and wait till her / his Answer Sheet is collected by the Room Invigilator. She / he must not write or revise her / his answer after the
expiry of the allotted time. At the closure of the Exam, a bell will be rung to warn the candidates to stop writing or revising their answers.

16. i) Canvassing in any form will disqualify a candidate.
ii) A candidate, who makes accusations or insinuation against rival candidates or the Commission as a whole, Chairman or Member of the Commission or its
official etc. may be disqualified.
iii) A candidate who is found knowingly to have furnished any particulars which are false or to have suppressed material information will be disqualified, and if

it
already appointed in Govt. service, will be liable to dismissal. She / he is also liable to proscription from all Government Service and to criminal prosecution.
17. Scribe / Extra Time for PwBD category candidates of Haryana:

i) An extra / compensatory time of @ 20 minutes per hour will be allowed in each paper to the Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (Blind and Low vision or
Locomotor Disability), only on production of a Medical Certificate issued by Medical Board constituted by the Chief Medical Officer / Civil Surgeon of the
concerned district, and after issuing permission by the Commission in this regard. They have to apply well in time i.e. at least 10 days prior to commencement
of Examination, to the Commission.
ii) The PwBD (Blindness and Low vision) candidates who want the help of a scribe to write his/her paper will have to apply to the Commission for the permission
of a scribe separately well in time i.e. at least 10 days prior to the commencement of the Examination.

iii) The candidate has to make his / her own arrangement of a scribe. Commission will not provide any Scribe.
iv) The scribe should be a studying-student upto 10+2 and his/her photo & other particulars should be duly verified by the Principal of the Institution in which
the student is studying. No online request for a scribe will be accepted by the Commission. The PwBD (Blindness and Low vision) candidates who intend to avail
extra time without the help of a scribe will have to apply to the Commission for the permission for extra time well in time i.e. 10 days prior to the

commencement of the Exam.


v) PwBD candidates suffering from Locomotor Disability who want extra / compensatory time will have to apply to the Commission for permission. Such
candidates will be allowed extra time @ 20 minutes per hour for Examination, on production of medical certificate issued by a Medical Board constituted by
Civil Surgeon of the concerned District, clearly stating therein that the candidate’s writing ability is grossly affected due to his / her disability.

vi) It should be noted that no such permission in the above cases will be granted by the Centre Supervisor and without the permission letter of the Commission,
no extra time will be given by him to any candidate, in any case.

18. The candidate must abide by any further instructions which may be given to her / him by the Supervisor of the Examination centre. If the candidate fails to do so
or indulges in disorderly or improper conduct, she / he will render herself / himself liable to expulsion from the Examination or such other punishment as the
Commission may deem fit to impose.
19. The candidate’s admission to the examination is provisional & subject to fulfilment of all the conditions of eligiblility as all the candidates are being allowed
provisionally without adjudging their eligibility as per advertisement at this stage. If, at a later stage the candidate is not found eligible, the candidature will be

cancelled without any notice.


20. The candidates are directed to draw a cross line with their pen on the blank pages of their Answer Sheets.
21. The candidates of those categories against which no post was advertised, shall be considered against the vacancies of General category if they fulfill all the
conditions of eligibility as meant for General category.
22. Any indiscipline, misbehavior or disregard to the instructions given would lead to forfeiture of the candidature.
