There are college students that suddenly thought out of the blue a very intriguing

question…WHAT COULD HAVE HAPPENED IN 2020 IF PANDEMIC DIDN’T OCCUR?


Then, they imagined lots of things that could’ve happened in the past.
These college students are studying as part of their daily routine. But one of them
started to vent out all the exhaustion she has been carrying as a college student.
Cyrel: Uhh! I’m so exhausted. It’s seems like our life in college is draining us.
Raylene: I agree, ** puts down her book** our cycle are always house, school, school,
house there’s no time for fun anymore.
Jake: **sigh** Guys, have you ever imagined what could have happened in 2020 if
pandemic didn’t exit?
Avegail: Yeah, that’s supposed to be our junior high graduation right?
Catherine: Yes, I wish we could go back.
** Ting**
FLASHBACK
ENTRANCE
It’s the first day of school and everyone is so happy and alive. They are all singing and
dancing after entering the school premises.
**Dancing and Singing**
But after they did that, they all went on their on ways as if nothing happened. They went
back to being strangers again, while others called their own friends and formed groups.
(Classroom Settings)
Student 1and 2 will be studying

** Flirting**
Yasmien: You look prettier than ever darling.
Anisa: Ehe, please stop babe somebody might hear you. I’m shy, don’t tell them that I’M
GORGEOUS!!
Nealyn: How are you frenny?!
Cyrel: Lovely as always.
Together with Zusette and Hannah

Raiza ( Friendly classmate)
They are in chaos. Some are alone while others have someone to talk to. It is just the
first day so the main agenda of the teachers is to introduce themselves to their students.
** Teacher enters the classroom**
Teacher: Stand up everyone, let’s greet each other. Good morning ** she joyfully said
and this ease the tremor that every students feel**
Students: Good morning ma’am, good morning classmate, I’m glad to see you again!!
Paulene: Please be seated. This is you last junior year right. How does it feel? ** No
one answered** By the way I’m Lucy Perry and I will be your Science teacher.
Students murmured about her name because they felt that there’s something wrong, but
one of them bluntly uttered;
Hannah: I think I heard it somewhere.
Neah: Yah, it sounds familiar.
Jake: Lucy? Lucy Perry? Lucyper?
After hearing what her student said, she looked at him and asked seriously:
Paulene: What?! Can you repeat what you just said?
The student tremble in fear because he thought that he will be screwed up.
Paulene: What’s your name?
She asked while acting like she’s finding his name on her list.
Jake: Ma’am, ma’am I’m Ma-Ma-Manny.
Paulene: Pacquiao?
Student: No ma’am, ** clears his throat and then confidently fixes his shirt** Manny
Paksiw.
** Whole class laughed**
Paulene: Oh, It suits you well.
**Everyone laughed in the class **
Paulene: Okay, quiet everyone. You don’t need to introduce yourselves one by one
because I already have a list of your names. So I hope to know all of you through your
performances. Because it is your first day you won’t have any classes yet. But we, your
teachers, will only introduce ourselves to all of you. That’s all for now, goodbye!!
Students: Goodbye ma’am.
After she went out the room, the student go back to their agenda.
Geraldine: I breathe heavily earlier thinking that she would be a terror one.
Neah: Oh my gosh I agree, her gestures and facial expressions feared me enough to be
quiet.
Cyrel: Luckily she’s not a terror.
Students will be divided into groups again.

They make noises out of their conversations without knowing that another teacher
already arrived. The teacher flung her books on the table to catch the attention of her
students. The students looked toward teacher’s desk and saw the new teacher standing
in front
Catherine: What is this commotion all about? Go back to your proper seats, I don’t want
to see anyone standing other to than me.. 1…2…3…4…5
One of her student stocked her skirt in the lifted nail of the chair and wasn’t able to go
back in her seat. She captured her teacher’s attention and started to scold her.
Catherine: Why are you still standing? Don’t you know how to seat anymore?
Yasmien: Ma-ma~
Catherine: Okay remain standing. You know class I am easy to get along, I’m an
easygoing person. Maybe you already know me, majority of my life has been served in
this school. Do you know that I am the first one who taught here that is still alive. So
knowing me is a privilege.
Catherine: Out of the schools that offered me a job I chose this school to give my
service. So who am I class? Who I am?! ** No one answered her** I’m so famous why
you didn’t know me?! I’m Angelita Tabanal.
Students murmured about her name.
Hannah: Her name is Angelita but her attitude is not very angel like.
** Some laughed after hearing that but immediately stopped and turned their head
down**
Catherine: I can still hear you, 20 decibels is still audible for me. Hearing your joke is
not my thing. I am expecting all of you to have prerequisite knowledge about our
subject, English. So you, the one standing at the back give me one of the parts of
speech, define it and give example.
Yasmien: Ma’am ** she said helplessly** I don’t know ma’am. All I know is about the
part of the body.
Everyone laughed about her answer but one the student’s laugh dominates.
Catherine: You ** pointed out** maybe you know the answer. Stand up.
That student was stupefied by the teacher’s call.
Avegail: Ma’am, I-I also don’t know the answer.
Catherine: Oh my goodness, it’s already the peak of you junior high year but no one
knows about parts of speech ** she spoke in anguish** Get one whole sheet of paper!!

** One week passed**
Task 1 : Science ( experiment)
The class was divided into four groups because they will be having an experiment. Two
of the groups will be experimenting about the coke while others about the flour.
Teacher entered the classroom.
Paulene: Good day class.
** The students stand up**
Students: Good morning ma’am.
Paulene: Take your seats. Last time I already divided you into four groups right?
Students: Yes ma’am.
Paulene: Alright, so have you brought the materials I told you to bring?
Student: Yes ma’am.
Paulene: Very good, so now group 1 and 3 will be doing their experiment outside
because it would be very messy if they would be doing it her. As for group 2 and 4
remain here inside, I will assist 1 and 3 first okay.
Students: Yes ma’am.
Paulene: Okay, group 1 and 3 come with me.
They now went outside while group 2 and 4 remain inside, but while they are waiting
one of the students from group 2 asked
Cyrel: What can we do using a flour?
** She asked her group mates but someone from the other group answered**

Neah: Of course, there are a lots of things you could make using a flour, stupid!
** She answered her rudely**

Cyrel: Like what? If you know something give me one then.

Neah: Like…like, I’m still thinking about it.

Cyrel: Oh, so you don’t know anything ** smirk** much stupid


**she intentionally tried to insult her**

Neah: Hey, don’t you dare calling me that, I’m so brilliant you know”

Raiza: Guys, stop fighting it’s not good


**But they didn’t listen**
Cyrel: Girl, stop being delusional. We’ve been friends remember that’s why I know
you’re not.
Neah: ** she stood up and slammed the table** Yeah we’ve been friends, you wanna
end it now?
Cyrel: ** also stood up** Bring it on.
Everything became out of hand when they started arguing which resulted to the division
of class.
** they sing in a conversational way**
** Two months passed**
Task 2 : Speech choir
Conflict: Rivalry
Ma’am Angelita messenged the whole class that she’s sick so she won’t be able to
come, but they need to stay and practice their speech choir.
Student: Guys announcement! Ma’am Tabanal won’t be around because she’s sick. But
she said that we need to continue practicing our speech choir.

Student: Yes!! Ma’am is not around. Guys let’s play a game.

Student leader 1: We will not play any game because we need to practice our speech
choir…. Listen up group 1 we will start.

Student Leader 2: Group 2 we will also practice. ** She said it competitively**

Group 1 started their practice, but it did not please the other group. So they made their
voices louder until the teacher from another class went into their room to reprimand
them.

there’s another class in this school beside you that wants to learn. You’re so noisy! I
don’t care what you are doing in here, but it bothers my class. WARNING!
** she left after saying that**

Student leader 2: This is your group’s fault!

Student leader 1: Why is it our fault, you’re the one who always think that everything is a
competition.
** Her groupmates agreed while the other group declines her argument**

Student leader 2: That’s not true, you’re only saying that because you’re intimidated.

Group 2: Woah!

Student leader 1: Darling I am confident with my talents, unlike you, who needs to prove
it before someone sees.

Student leader 2: You know what, it’s futile arguing with you.

Student leader 1: Glad you know, because you’re already talking so much nonsense.

After the song, Abby bumps into Jake because she’s in a hurry to give the flower she’s
holding to her friend.

VP: We will deliver your messages for free. Our officers will give you papers where you

**There’s a music while the officers are giving empty papers. Then, the students will
return them by sticking it onto the wall**

The officers started to hunt for students with the same shirt color. And they did find Jake
and Abby with red shirt color.

Abby asked Jake if he has money.

They all went there leaving the two inside the jail. Both of them looked to each others
eyes then hold to the railings and both shouted;

Task 4: Camping
They will have an open forum where they will share their feelings, and finally resolve
any of their misunderstandings.

Everyone was sitting on the ground until their teacher started to give instruction about
the activity they will conduct this evening.

Teacher: Everyone, attention please. Enough doing unnessesary things instead focus
on me. Lately, the faculty observed that our section become the center of chaos, all of
you are fighting against one another. As a solution, I decided on this camping that it
would be better if we conduct this activity. We will be having a forum this evening.
(everyone pays attention)

Student 1: What if we don’t want to reconcile with our enemy, maam ??


Teacher: Then you leave me no choice Ms. ______ to keep you in my class until the
next school year. You will be graduating this year, its better to settle everything than to
exit this curriculum carrying grudges from your classmates.

Student 1: I agree maybe we shoud talk to ____ to fix her relationship with _____. It’s

wrong but we can’t still deny the fact that you are the one you started the fire.

While they’re having a conversation, her friend arrived and apologies.

nice while creating an image that I’m a hypocrite and an evil creature.
Student 5: Can you stop ? I’m not here to fight.

Student 5: I just want to say sorry and give you this. I pick all of the pieces scattered in
the ground and rebuit our friendship bracelet.

After student 5 give the bracelet to student 3, she look at her while she is leaving and
lament on her toxic behavior towards her. She cried and immediately went to her friend
and say sorry.

Student 5: I’m sorry.

Then others students also go to the people that they what to say sorry.

Task 5: Review
Their final examination came. This is where they’ll show how dedicated they are as
individuals. They will help one another to prepare for the upcoming examination and aim
to graduate from junior high level.
Teacher: Your final examination will be next week, Monday and Tuesday.

Students are complaining.

Student: Why so early?


Student: I haven’t had any notes yet.
Student: I’m still not ready.
Student: I’m so stress.

Teacher: This is your final chance to level up your grades. And for those that will not
pass, see you next year.

Student: Ma’am!!
Student: Guys, see you all next year.
Student: Do it yourself.
Teacher: Goodbye class.

After their teacher left, one of the students go in front to propose something.

Student: Everyone listen up. We all know that this is our last chance for us to graduate,
so I propose to build a study group where we will all prepare for the upcoming
examination.

Student: I like that, I’m in.


Student: Yah, I also want to graduate.
Student: Me too.
Student: Me three.
Student: We all want, so I want your full cooperation on this.

They started their study group where all of them have their notes to share with one
another.

Conclusion: They all passed and will be graduating.

Task 6: Graduation
Entrance: Sing and dance wearing graduation suit.

End: College students fell asleep and they woke up from dreaming in the middle of the
day.
