LEADRBOARD

Leadrboard is a Mobile & Web App that is trying to address the problem for travellers who are new to a
city and want to know which the best 7 restaurants are to dine in the city. The same they would also like
to know about the Bars & Clubs.

User Logs in the APP using FB. – Data to Fetch are Demographic Profile / Friends on FB who are using
the App

See the Best 7 based on City of Current User (Fetched via Location) - Zoom out to State, Country and
Continent, World (This can be a List View or Map View) based on the Ranks provided by all the users in
the system. The minimum Zoom level is the city and hence we are not targeting around my location in
the first version.

Filters:
1. Location Selection: It can be set to particular ‘city’.
2. Category Selection: Restaurant / Bar / Club
3. Rankedby filter: It can be set to 'All users' or 'My FB Friends' or 'Experts’.
4. Price range filter: It can be set to ‘All’ or ‘affordable’ or ‘expensive’.
5. Style: It can be set to ‘All’ or 'romantic' or 'party’.

All these filters can be applied independently.


Means, a user might want to have a Ranking board of 'restaurants' of ‘London’ which are 'romantic'
and has price range 'expensive' while taking into account 'expert' ranks only.

Or

a user might want to have a Ranking board of 'restaurants' of ‘London’ which are of Style 'All' and has
price range ‘All’ while taking into account ‘All Users’ ranks only.

I should also be able to open the Restaurant / Bar / Club in Map view to get directions.

Clicking on the Restaurant / Bar / Club Name – User should be able to see the details of the Restaurant
/ Bar / Club like Location, Ranking, Reviews, and who of my friend has ranked the Bar and what
Ranking.

ADD RANK - User searches of Restaurant / Bar / Club by name from an Autocomplete Box (date
fetched from Google Business Listing) and clicks on the right one to see the detail of the Restaurant /
Bar / Club (Price Range (expensive / affordable), of Romantic / Party, City) and then assigns the relevant
Rank from 1st – 7th. Do note that the Ranks are assigned by individual User based on their own criteria
and it is not determined by the system as this is Users individual choice.

Expectation from Business Analyst
• Consider Vikas Agarwal as the client and create a list of questions for him.
• Identify dependency, risks, gaps and any assumptions you would like to make as a BA
• Create detailed User Story with relevant UML Diagram for Search Functionality. Do note User story
should follow the INVEST principle and if it needs to be broken down to multiple stories please do so.
• Create an excel sheet considering 10 users (5 experts and 5 normal users) and 10 restaurants of city
(London as an example) of type Romantic. Now, provide us an algorithm which defines which
restaurant would be ranked 1st based on the rankings given by above 10 users.
